Modern Witches may use herbs in two ways: through homeopathy and natural medicine, and in magickal applications for health and healing as well as success, prosperity, harmony, etc. The magickal intent, which is good--there's less to confuse the mind. Therefore, if you don't know what an herb can do on teh magickal realm, and you can't find it anywhere in books on magick, you can always read about it's medicinal properties and match the energy of the plant to a specific magickal working.
I have a lovely list of some herbal...things for you to work with. Feel free to expieriment with them as well as ask questions and put your own input. There are endless possibilites to do with herbs so if you want some suggestions of have some of your own, feel free to put them here. smile
There is an endless list of herbs that can be used in magickal workings. There is even a Magickal Herb Encyclopedia by Cunningham (which I love) so I will post a list of commonly used herbs and plants and their properties.
