What do you think is David's best album? For me it would be a tie between Diamond Dogs(of course wink ) and Scary Monsters. (And yes, I left out his early junk. It doesn't really count.)

I prefer some of that early stuff to all bar 3 tracks on Scary Monsters, thank you very much! blaugh
Anyhew... I'd have to go for the typical answer and pick Ziggy.
My top five is probably...
1) The Rise And Fall... 2) ...hours 3) 1. Outside 4) Hunky Dory 5) EART HL I NG

To some it's blasphemy, but I'm very partial to Outside.

Well, the WORST is Tonight. Hands down. x.x OMG, D, what were you THINKING.
It's a shame that the mid-to-late 80's albums sucked (Labyrinth was good), because there were generally a few gems on each, like Time Will Crawl (my favorite Bowie song EVAR) on 'Never Let Me Down', which was a beetch to dig up as an mp3, lemme tell you. Or the Let's Dance version of Cat People.
I'm new, btw. ^^;

Not quite as listenable as most other albums but still good nonetheless. How about Tin Machine are we including them?

I like 'Under the Dog' from that a lot, but the album as a whole was a little garage-band-y for me. Which is fair, they were still figuring out who they were as a band and hadn't quite jelled yet.

Ooo... I'd have to say Aladdin Sane, though it is close between it and Earthling. I've got such a soft spot for those CDs...
