Name: Marien Mulligen
Nickname: “Maxem” the Spark
Age: 20
Height: 5’4”
Hair: Ruddy Reddish-Brown, it is short and curly. The main technique for restraining it is to use her goggles as a type of rough hair band. She has a few wigs which she likes to rotate through on days where she doesn’t particularly need to go to work. One of which is a chocolate brown wig cut with large ringlet curls and face framing bangs, while the other is a dirty hay coloured wig that reaches about her shoulders and curls inwards slightly, but is otherwise fairly strait.
Eyes: Grey-Blue, and highly expressive.
Body: Her body is curvy and full, however many ribs in her body are broken because of her clothing choices to control these curves. With her redhead genes came the genes for freckles, which speckle her face and shoulders, and give her a sun-kissed look.

Personality: To suggest every element of Maxem's personality will be a hard task to complete, and I won't even try to get it all done.
She's a bit neurotic, in the sense that she has failed to properly mature into a useful member of society. Sure, she can live on her own, but don't very well expect her to do a good job of it.
She's impulsive, selfish, immature, conceited, and a bit of a nymphomaniac. Rather than actually following through on the things she says, though, she usually becomes flustered and stops whatever it was that was going on right before it gets to anything serious. In short, her bark is far worse than her bite, if she even bites at all.
She is fairly easy to sway to a certain viewpoint, and tends to not use the brain she was given, because, by golly, is it a lot easier to just have someone else tell you what to do, rather than think for yourself. Despite being so subservient in most circumstances, she will have fits of extreme egomania that eventually die down and leave her exhausted.
When she does seem to have some confidence, or she has a set goal in mind, she can become fairly manipulative, with carefully planned body language and speech patterns to try to trick or coerce people into giving her her way. The amount of success that these techniques have are usually dependent on just how turned on she can make her victem without actually having to promise 'favors' in return.
Likes: Maxem tends to like explosives, but finds a safe haven in working with machines. Automobiles are particularly dear to her heart, as well as working on gadgets that may be of use to her or her friends. Ultimately, her main joy is to invent things, and then to blow them up. She is also fairly fond of tea, coffee, and any other forms of caffeine that she can get her hands on, and a particular love of all things sweet.
Dislikes: First and foremost, animals. She does not understand just why they can’t be automated like robots, and why on earth they have to continually excrete where they are told not to. A close second in dislike are people whom she cannot manipulate, followed only by onions and stubbing her toes.
Strengths: Her main strength is her compliance and loyalty. This is, of course, fleeting, but in the moments when it does seem a trait of hers, it is an iron will. Her determination and spunk take the second place, although depending on your viewpoint, these could also be seen as a weakness.
Weaknesses: She is filled with weaknesses, which include the need to be taken care of and spoiled. She requires orders to be able to fill her time, and is very hard at getting along without someone telling her just how to get along at all. She is rash and hardheaded, which leads to senseless actions made on impulses; even if she knows she is wrong, she has far too much pride to admit it.
Fears: Maxem’s main fear is going through life without an aim to it. This is coupled with her doubt in her own decisions, and leads to a “Slave-type” mentality. She wants to make something of herself and leave a legacy, be it through spectacular shows or an invention that can make life easier. If she goes through life without making proof that she lived, her life would be considered a failure.

Describe their talent/skill/act: Maxem, being a slightly destructive thing, specializes in fireworks, explosives, and just about all other things that go boom. She tends to hide in the background behind curtains during her spectacles, watching as her pyrotechnics light up her audience's faces or provides a stunning backdrop for the talented members of a troupe. Being more of a support than a requirement, Maxem tries her best to bolster any coworkers while still keeping her own esoteric flair that shows her personality behind them. Her skill ranges from small roman candles and sparklers to accent a stage to full on night scenes that illuminate entire cities.

As of yet, Maxem has no stage potential. She spends her days cleaning up and fixing whatever may come her way, as well as any other chores that are thrown at her. Poor Maxem! Work your way up, M'girl!

World A:
Maxem’s world is an isolated one. Even if magical events happened outside of her town, she might not even know, because of the solitude of her home city. Her hometown is known as Cherry Creek located somewhere in the deserts of America. This sleepy town is a boom and bust type of place, when the mining is good, it thrives. The mining during her life, however, has taken a steep downward turn, and the money, and citizens, and Cherry Creek are slowly slipping away. It didn’t help, of course, that the eccentric daughter of a prominent town leader was exhausting the town’s capital on her own destructive hobbies.

Grete - My Mentor, Yay! She's a silly drunk, I swear, but I like her. Charming and pretty generous, although it’s easy to pull the curtain over her eyes. Maybe she’s better when she’s sober.
Charlot - Well, he's certainly an enigma! Apparently he likes to stay with women he isn't married to. I'm fairly sure I've taken a fancy to him, but I can't be too sure. I think I've annoyed him, actually. This may not work out so well.
