It's okay. The guild is so incredibly slow right now. I'm actually considering leaving it because everybody seems to be obsessed with GIR. It's "TEH Invader ZIM Guild," not "The Happy Smiley GIR Show!"

I'm aware that there ARE other characters besides Zim and GIR. The show would be one-dimensional with just an alien and his robot. I like Gaz and Dib, and the interactions between the various skoolkids and their peers. I like the interaction between GIR and the stock characters. I absolutely love the interaction between Gaz and the rest of the cast.
Of all the characters, Gaz seems to have her head screwed on straight. She sees through Zim's bad disguise (if Dib is smart because of Membrane's genetics, so too is Gaz), but knows he is too inept to conquer America, let alone Earth. She probably dislikes GIR because he isn't one of her favorite things -- pizza, games and bringing pain to those who defy her. She hates Dib because he's her brother, and probably respects only Membrane. ("I brought you into this world, and I can take you out of it and make a new one!")
GIR is simplistic, but he understands the nuances of human culture far better than Zim does. If GIR applied himself, he could conquer the Earth far faster and with a more subtle method than Zim himself. That little steel slave is more than just a robot, for robots don't have electric dreams of piggies and tacos.
Dib may think he is Mankind's Savior, but Christ already took that job millennia ago. Zim may think he is the Destroyer of Mankind, but Hitler and Stalin have nearly cornered that title so long ago. Dib and Zim are stupid in their actions, not in their beliefs. Zim thinks he's evil when he isn't, and Dib thinks he's heroic when he isn't. They're both just misguided.
And Membrane is like Red and Purple; cocksure and full of himself (not to mention full of crap). He thinks that if he wasn't around to hold humanity's collective hand, civilisation as we know it would collapse. What a crock. Mankind can stay its course without Membrane's "real science" advancements. Though, I admit, hoverscreens are pretty neat.
Sorry about the rant; with all the GIR n00b types creeping into the board, I had to get it off my chest.

Wow I haven't been here in along time either. Mainly because I belong to another zim guild that I love alot more than this one because alot of my friends belong to it (no offense to this guild or anything).

Which new guild do you belong to, izfreek? Hopefully it isn't filled with GIR n00bs that have nothing better to do than spout his one-liners incessantly...
Yeah. I've been bitter like you wouldn't believe over all the GIR people. And I do like GIR, but he's not the only character in the show!
