Tessa paced her class room while waiting for her pupil to arrive. The girl Altessa, was a bandersnatch something she'd only ever heard of in myth. This had left her perplexed on what to teach the girl, fortunately her assignment to this girl had come with extra information from the techs. Using that she'd decided that today's lesson would be to see if if Altessa who name ironically meant noble reaper could instill fear in her.
Glancing up at the clock she grinned, it shouldn't be too long now before the girl got there.

Altessa came walking in first, Raine close behind. The woman had a distant look about her, though was very well aware of the mood Altessa was in.
Altessa was curious, but not happy. Who would be happy, going to school where people could shove information down your throat? She wanted to be outside.

Tessa smiled at the pair " Welcome both of you, Ms. Raine you're welcome to watch this lesson though you must not interfere as it could hinder the learning process. Alternatively you can choose to return for Altessa in about half an hour."
Tessa didn't think the girl's lesson would take too long, besides the skill in question would either show up this lesson or need multiple ones it wasn't something that Tessa could devise many plans to bring out altessa had to master it mostly on her own.

Raine nodded and turned to find a spot on the floor, sitting with her legs crossed. "I will watch."
Altessa glowered, crossing her arms. Silently, she waited. At least Kanth was staying; if Tiil was here, he'd jet out the first chance he got.
She was thankful for that, but she'd never admit it.

Tessa nodded to Raine and smiled before turning her attention to Altessa. " young lady your job today is to try and scare me as your primary abilites are to invoke and devour fear." I am so asking for a raise if I keep getting odd skills she mused.
" There is a rule however, you cannot touch me in any form you may step towards me, circle or threaten me bare handed or with an object but you cannot touch me since fear often follows pain anyways and would be cheating, do you understand and agree?"

Altessa raised a very fine eyebrow, but nodded as she hunkered down in front of the woman, staring. Her tail lashed from side to side, and it wasn't long before the pupils in her eyes grew round as dinnerplates.
She was trying to concentrate. She really didn't think it was working; this woman really hadn't done anything to piss Altessa off, so maybe it was an exercise that would fail.
Nevertheless, she was trying.

Tessa wasn't even remotely scared yeah but she could see that Altessa was making the effort. Blowing her plum coloured bangs from her eyes she took a step towards the concentrating child. Perhaps if she agitated her a bit this would go better. " Try harder little one" she said in a sing song voice mentally wanting to kick herself very hard.

Sulking a bit and pouting at the woman, Altessa gave a shrug. The woman didn't really annoy her. She also hated to say that she 'couldn't', but... this woman just didn't seem all that threatening to her.
So instead of a fear-filled glare, all Tessa got was a pouting glower.

This was not going to work, Altessa was not capable of inducing fear and the longer they spent denying this fact the more time they wasted. " Ok It's time to quit this won't work. Instead I'm giving you homework. Your job is to attempt to induce fear in both strangers and family then journal your sucess. You sneak up on someone and then growl at them making them scared that's good. Remember how sucess feels becuase once the power kicks in you'll need control." Tessa hated giving up but it was the best she could do for this girl.

Nodding, Altessa stood up and walked back over to Raine, glancing back at the woman with mild interest. She'd certainly try, but this woman wasn't doing anything for her. There was no reason to stay.
