I seriously cant stand Meredith, she is so selfish and self centered. And I cant stand mcdreamy either, he is just as irritating. I just cant stand her! everyone else I love, I even love addison now, she is one of my favs. so many time meredith has been so self centered she didnt even realize others were in a much were situation than her. she always thinks her life is the most dramatic. remember that episode when izzy told that girl she has a daughter? and then that night she went to lay in georges bed and then meredith came in to mope to who ever would lsten? she said "george, we dont know everything about each other" and meredith said "yah" like we care about her secerts. and notice she said george, not addressing it to meredith as well. come on, back me up, who else cant stand her?

Well my mom always says Meredith comes off as a little whiney and self centered. But I think she can be ok some times. There are times when I am confused about her actions, but overall I don't let her "whineyness" get to me. Atleast her narrations at the beginning and the end of each episode don't sum up her problems, but rather those issues people face day to day.

Meredith...annoys me, for many reasons.
Mostly because she hurt George! Poor George crying
She just...irratates me. She's always with a guy, and when she's not with a guy, she will eventually find one or BEG for him to come back (aka incident when she says to Derek "choose me, love me" stare i hate that scene) anyway ya.
I love Addison she's like one of my favourite characters! And now McDreamy is off with Meredith, and they aren't together anymore sad

And she may come off as self-centered, but 'tis the show. The story, plotline, everything 'bout the show surrounds Meredith. The show is called 'Grey's Anatomy' for a reason. 3nodding

I like Merideth, but she could be pretty whiney sometimes.
I think im the only fan of the Merideth/George relationship lol.

oeh, Mere is my hero... Seriously! And I mean, just as Shonda said, she can be a little whiny.. She has been through a lot!! With her mom and dad when she was younger, with her mom and dad now... And of course with Derek and Addie, and the whole Denny thing... Oh, and finding out she has a sister, that she grew up alone and her dad gave all the love she missed to his other family, I mean, that must suck!!

okay heres how i see it. The show is called GREYS anatomy. That means Meredith GREY. The whole shows not about just her but it is focused on her. So it is a little bit understandable when she is being self centered. I am not saying i love her. she is very irritating. I dont like the "choose me, love me" part either. But i think she and Mcdreamy are cute together. She is definetly not my favorite though. i do not think she is that pretty. her lip bothers me.

Hey, you know what? So do I. I can relate to her on so many ways, especially with the mother who wants perfect everything from her. (GGGGGGGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRR ARRRRRRGGGGGGGG!!!!!!) She is probably who I'm going to be most like. Meredith, like me, loves attention and she loves Derek, the love of her life, but this is a show people. Real people like you and me are just like Meredith and people are entitled to their own opinions. Even if you hate her, love her, it really doesn't matter because it's your own opinion. You don't have to feel bad if you hate her. Othe people hate her as well, just not me.

I like meredith Grey , because...because of many things .
First of all , she has survived a lot and yes,shes's whiny , but she's also many other things,which are good ones .
I agree with Jewelz1324 , the show is Grey's Anatomy,so as Jewelz1324 it is focused on her .
She and Derek are perfect together , I've always wanted them together , they are a really nice couple !
Also I don't think that Mer is selfish , I mean everyone is selfish at some point , but Meredith is not that selfish ^^ .
When she slept with George ... It was a huge mistake , but I think that shes has been so hurt by Derek and she has tried to fill the empty place in her and as George was the one in the room ...
