I'm currently between bands. ACEofSPADES was waysided, and I haven't had the time to pick up the pen to write a new name down, so we're kind of a nameless project for now...I sing.
I've been told I sound like Josey Scott combined with Layne Staley. That is honestly the greatest compliment I've ever received.

I may just take one of the many names for albums that I have listed, although most of them are darker names. I want a lighter-sounding name this time around...too many dark ones.

I've thought of loads of great names for albums and bands and such, but they're too punk... xp And well done on being compared to Layne...you must be good then... biggrin 3nodding

And most of the names I think up are dark and depressing. I need light and happy. The problem is I can't do that without being funny, and that just leads people to think I'm not serious.

A friend of mine and I have a fairly mellow "band" together. We try to have in depth lyrics, with listenable voices, but keep it as stripped and straight-forward as possible... which is why we only have keyboard and vocals.
My friend does keyboard and backup vocals. I do vocals.
My friends nickname is NotThatDan (since our old group had 3ish Dans in it), so we decided to call ourselves NotThatBand. It's pretty chill.
I've also been a part of two hip-hop/rap projects. One that was politically charged called The Leninators rolleyes and another called Crazy Mimes. I did vocals again. It was pretty cool.
