hope it's ok.

these are from Michael Ausiello over at TV Guide

Question: You inspired me to dress up as Smurfette for Halloween. Now, could you please give me some good spoilers for Veronica Mars?— Daphne
Ausiello: There better be a photo waiting for me in my "In" box when I get into work tomorrow, Smurfette. On the spoiler front, Episode 9, which is the conclusion of the rape mystery, was so big it required an extra day of shooting. "There's plenty of action," notes exec producer Rob Thomas, who also directed the episode, "and, for the first time in Veronica Mars history, a bit of gore. Stranger still, the gore involves a unicorn."

Question: You've been skimping on Veronica Mars scoop lately. What the frak?— Ryan Estrada
Ausiello: I'm about to make up for it. The reason for the unprecedented gore in the ninth episode? Someone dies. Now, does anyone wanna guess what the second mystery of the season will be? If you guessed a murder mystery, you're right!

(I posted this in the Weevil thread but i'll repeat it here since it relates to episode 9.)

Question: What happened to Francis Capra on Veronica Mars? He hasn't been looking too good.— Rachel
Ausiello: Many of you have written in asking about this, and here's the deal: According to Rob Thomas, Francis had a medical condition that's required quite a bit of medication, causing him to swell up and break out. The swelling has since subsided, and Francis returns in Episode 9 looking "lean and mean," Rob tells me. Some skin problems remain, but "he's feeling better, and it's just a matter of time before he's his old self."
