The small red lioness bounced along happily, sniffing at rocks and bushes she came across as she neared the waterhole. She stopped for a moment and looked up, swishing her dark tail back and forth as she stared forward happily. "It looks so fun out there in the wild." She grinned happily, staring now, not interested, but longing...
"If only I could go out there, just once..." Jurawa trailed off, taking a few more steps towards the edge of the pridelands. "But mother would have a heart attack if she knew I was this close to it already, she warned me about the graveyard..." She added to herself, turning and glancing back and the flourishing, green lands that were her home. "Guess I'd better be getting back..." She finished, padding off back towards the pridelands, though moving mostly towards the waterhole, thirsty from wandering all the way out here in the first place.

Aden yawned widely. He had finally wandered away from his family's den for a while. Away from annoying Ver and overprotective Tia! he scowled; the comment his mother had made about his having no friends when Verdad apparently had so many stung him. Digging claws into the soft dirt, he let out a soft "hmph" and gazed into the shimmering water before him. He was flopped on his stomach, letting the earth cool his belly. Looking up as a movement caught his eye, he spotted the other cub. Narrowing poisonous green eyes, he watched her progress.
Hmph, a girl, like Ver. Luckily she WASN'T Ver, that would have made him even angrier... but then he remembered Tia's comment about Ver having more friends and he snorted. He'd show them! Standing and putting on what he assumed was a very sauve smile, he padded a bit closer to Jura.
"Hello there," he said, trying to look friendly but not entirely sure how to.

Jurawa gave a small squeak as the other cub stepped up behind her, and then flicked her tail angrily, whirling around and glaring at him. "That was RUDE." She stated loudly, and in a very in-your-face sort of manner. She then scoffed and promptly turned back around, ignoring him completely for a moment. After another moment or two, she growled softly, and without turning around, "Are you still standing there...?" She inquired, flicking her tail again and flexing her claws into the dirt at her feet. "I don't like boys..." She added, laying her ears back and then waiting for his response.
