I'm known as the regional "emo-cake" because I'm emotional. I don't dress emo or used to listen to them (used to be a metal head actually, and only recently went to emo music), but they all call me it because I write 'emo' lyrics, and am a very emotional boy.
Apparently the girls dig emotional boys though. =P
So yes, I'd say you're emo.

Emo is just short for emotional. Nowadays, due to many stereotypes, people think that emo people are a bunch of different things. But since you claim to be emotional then your "emo".

i've kind of thought that emo is just as in emotional. ^ agrees with
Ky Kaisuke-san to a lot off people emo can mean a number of things.

There is a difference being Emo is Emotive Hardcore and emotional is in regards to how you feel. Can you feel Emotive Hardcore? I doubt it.

who cares if your "emo" or not. your thinking about being labeled too much. i get called "hippy" and "emo" i just laugh and forget about it. we all think way too much into it. your who you are, and people will always label you. you can live life to the fullest or worry every second on if your "in".
