This is an email system, just like all of the other races have.
All of the races will have a email system as it is the most practical idea. Your character doesn't have a computer, get one. Its not my problem.

Well, Vlos, I don't know if you've heard about my predicament yet. It's quite an interesting one.
You see, I'm alive. Human, that is. No joke. It's a long story.
Anyhow, to the point. You are one of my closest friends, the centuries we spent together traveling the world were some of the greatest times of my existance. I trust you completely. That is why, two weeks from today, I would like you to return me to my death.
I have some things I wish to do before then, but please contact me as soon as you can.

Well, old friend, I'm afraid I'll have to wait a while longer until I return to my death. It's a funny story, really, my predicament is quite unexpected in any case. More unexpected than the moment my heart started to beat.
In nine or so months I'll contact you again about my death, and introduce you to the newest member of my family. That's right, Vlos. Never thought it would happen to me, eh?
Hope the hunt is good, I do miss it.
