((Miller and Amaya bump in to each other again this time on the beach...))
It had been almost a day since he had the run in with Kikue, he finally had his own clothes on again, and his head was finally ache free from the hangover. In celebration he decided now would be a good time to retrieve the clothes he left on the beach before stumbling away from the party. With this in mind he set off towards the beach trying to recall exactly which way he went to get to the party now.

Amaya, however, had a more innocent agenda in mind.
Although it was indeed getting colder on the island, it was still warm enough to warrent rather pleasent basking weather. A little windy, but otherwise nice.
She lay stretched out on her stomach on the soft sand, her scaley arms crossed under her reptilian muzzle and her long tail stretching behind her... she was also very much nude - though she didn't seem to care at all. Afterall, she was just a big lizard, right? Nothing stood out like it did on other, more furry islanders.
A yellow sundress lay folded neatly near her, hung over a piece of driftwood that had washed up on shore. A silver pendent also hung next to it, looking old and worn, but in surprisingly good condition if one considered what it had been through.
The teen kept her eyes closed, thinking back to Alec. She wondered if he was still trapped in his duplex all alone, waiting for his wheelchair to get there. Her heart sank just thinking about it.

Miller of course wasn't paying all that much attention to where he was going. He simply wandered along the shore now heading away from the village like he had during the party. He had to get lucky at somepoint right?
Well he wouldn't find his pants, or his shirt right away. Instead he found a rather green looking lizard, laying very naked out on the beach, his method of finding her? Tripping over her own tail in his absent minded wanderings.
"Oh shi-!" He never finished his sentence as he took a face full of sand.

And Amaya, with her less than perfect hearing, didn't hear him until it was too late. Her whole body tensed as he tripped over her five-foot-long tail, yellow and brown eyes snapping open. The tiny dewlap under her chin fanned out and she got on all fours, looking very much like just an overgrown lizard. Her tail snapped to the side and her muzzle parted, showcasing long rows of sharp teeth in a bright pink mouth. A reptilian hiss escaped her throat... or at least until she caught his scent on her tongue and realized it was just an islander.
She blinked and her mouth shut, tongue flickering out afterwards. So it was that boy from the Halloween party who got Antony mad...
"Uhm... sorry. I thought you were something else." She said timidly as she sat up in a crouch. Her long tail coiled around her as best it could with it's girth.

Miller could feel the tail slash just over his shoulder, thank god he hadn't moved yet or the result might have been a rather large tail to the face. The voice how ever suddenly clicked in to place.
Rolling over quickly he looked up at Amaya, "Something else? There's allot of something else's around here so I don't blame you." It was then he noticed the lack of clothes and his face turned a slight hue of red. Ever since he got here he had seen allot more naked bodies or near naked then he ever had in the past.

"Yeah, I suppose..." Though Amaya had yet to find out about Annie... or Fiona's death. There was a lot that she didn't know of it.
She looked over at him a blinked, her tongue flickering and catching that he was embarassed or flustered over something. Though the thought that she was naked didn't cross her mind at all. Aside from her voice, there wasn't a feminine thing about her.

Miller sat up completly now brushing dust out of his hair and clothes. "I'm er sorry for interupting I could leave or something." He started to look at his feet now not sure how to act infront of what sounded to be a naked lizard girl.
If they where naked but not obviously of one sex is that okay? Or is it wrong to look? Living on an island of half animal people was a difficult situation.

"Hm? Why?" The girl cocked her head to one side to look at him before standing. She held out her hand to him to help him up. "Did I do something wrong?"
At the Halloween party Amaya had realized how many people she knew... but how little people that she was close friends with. A lot of the newer islanders that came had only been seen in passing, idle conversation... it seemed the older islanders she had grown to form as a family were less and less in passing. She wondered if they were all alright.
Amaya also realized that she needed to put forth a greater effort when it came to making friends. Hopefully she wouldn't scare this guy off or something with how she looked.

Miller shook his head quickly holding out a hand as well takeing it slowly and getting up a bit more. "N-no you didn't your just..." He frowned for a moment, "Naked..." he shook his head not understanding why she was so comfortable being naked like this in public.
He wasn't exactly afraid of her, after all this was one of the two people who helped him after having a bottle put to his head. "You're... you're the one with Nita at the Hallowen party when I was knocked over the head..."

After helping him up she let go of hand with her own scaley one, realizing what exactly he was embarassed about.
"Oh! Sorry, sorry." Amaya laughed nervously and walked over to the driftwood, fanning out her sundress before putting it on - followed by her pendent. "I keep forgetting it's kinda weird for you guys." It seemed only the new male islanders had a problem with it...
Once dressed she turned back to him. "Yeah, names Amaya. Hows your head?" She asked, holding her hand out again for a shake.

Miller blushed slightly and nodded again in thanks, "I don't mean to be a problem it's just odd... normally a girl would have slapped me across the face for finding them like this."
He took the hand shaking it with a goofy smile, "Yah better, better after a massive headache and getting drunk at a huge truth or dare party." He shrugged slightly, "I've made allot of mistakes since I came here I guess, though I've met a few nice people in the process." He smiled a bit, "My names Miller by the way."

Ugh, drunk. Amaya refrained from making a disgusted face. To each their own... she knew that a number of people would get rid of their misery by drowning it in the bottom of a bottle. "Yeah, Truth or Dare parties normally end up like that... s'why I tend to stay away from them, among other reasons." She headbobed in acknowledgment to his name.
Though his earlier girl comment made her smirk. "Well it's nice to know that you realized I'm a girl, dress aside. Not many people seem to these days." She said with a hint of sadness.

Miller frowned at the face she made at him, "I didn't plan on that to happen... it was a bad series of events and I regret it dearly." He scratched his neck in shame thinking about it all again. "It was kinda fun though minus the drunk part though."
"The voice fits, that stands out the most, other wise you could question alot of islanders just by looking at them. Kinda like babies they all look sexless minus the clothes and the name."

"Not a drinker then?" Amaya could have argued his about how Antony still looked feminine. Nita too. But... it just didn't seem something to make a point to argue about.

Miller moaned softly, "Far from it, maybe a glass of jack and coke now and then mostly for flavor and a hint of warmth. But noooo I had Antony make the drink and by half glass everything was a giggle fest." He frowned even more, "Didn't help I decided to drink half a thing of jack... never again will I do that NEVER... worst idea ever..."
