In the Legends of Zelda games (Expecially Ocarina of time) there are alot of characters for link to end up with and alot of hints along with it..everyone has thier own opinion on who link is best paired with, what is yours?
In opinion I would have to say Link and Malon...and saprisingly I have stuff to back it up...
1) there is some reason for people to believe link and zelda are brother and sister.
2)Every other girl in that game is a sage..inlcuding zelda. The sages must remain in the chamber of sages forever.
3) Every story has the hero and the princess end up...I think it would be cool for malon and link to end up..she's down to earth and really pretty ^.^
4) Near the temple of time one of the eyes of truth's will tell you that malon is waiting for a night in shinning armor to sweep her off her feet..I think she deserves it. she's so nice and takes abuse for her awsome like hourses
5) Can't you just picture link ridein up on epona at night while she's in the middle of the ranch singing and just pulling her on the hourse and rideing away into the night. Just taking her away from all of her pain. ^.^

While I still think that Zelda is awesome, since she can kick A** if she needed to.
ninja She makes an awesome ninja. ninja
And so in that way they should be together. especially since all he does for her, she better give herself up for him. I mean BOB!
But I always had a hope for Saria. I mean, SHE GAVE HIM HER KIDNEY!!! Zelda didn't even have the heart to give her OWN kidney, she gave him some old and dead guys kidney.
(my friends and I joke that the ocarina's look like kidneys)
But, when I read your post about Malon, it does seem like he should be with her...it definately causes some conflict in my mind...
uh-oh...I think my Brain-wheel hamster just overheated... eek

Hmm, well, Link shouldn't be with Zelda 'cuz she's an idiot; if she hadn't've forced Link to go through and collect ALL the sacred stones or whatever, Hyrule wouldn't've been in danger when Link finally grew up...
Ruta is waay too bossy and freaks out Link...
Nabooru is waay too old...
So is Impa...
Saria looks like a kid...
Yep, so by process of elimination Malon is the best choice for Link...

at first i thought zelda and link would be cool together...but now that i think about it i think malon would be better for him. even though zelda is prettier in my opinion. malon is a realistic choice for link. mrgreen

I vote Link+Saria...
I almost voted for Zelda...but...I dunno, aside from the whole nifty disguise thing...I thought she seemed kinda ditzy... sweatdrop
Not going by storyline here, I think that Saria and Link would make a fantastic couple, considering they grew up in the same place and obviously know each other quite well. The fact that she was a sage kinda kills the prospects, yea...I dunno, I just liked her a lot. ^^

Ok, after a lot of thinking, I finally came to the conclusion that the best couple would be, in fact Link and Malon.
*sigh*
I still go with the long childhood belief of Link and Zelda, but if it really came down to it, I think that Link and Malon would be the best.
