Do you tend to read the source manga before watching the anime? (Example: Dragon Ball, One Piece, Ranma 1/2, etc.)

cos its like which ever i SEE first,
i'll do tat first^^
if you compare watching the anime and reading it,
mostly the anime would not "show" all the things in comics rolleyes

I like to read manga first not only because it is cheaper, but also because I enjoy manga more than anime nowadays. Also, I enjoy the experience of seeing how my favorite manga are adapted into an animated series, and I become interested in lots of anime series because I read the manga first.

It depends on the series. Sometimes I'll have the manga and not even know there is an anime or vise versa. Or it just depends which one I see in the stores first.

it completely depends. I can only watch anime that's on the television networks, so I mostly watch first. but there are some that I've read first, and only found out much later that it's a series too! and that means it's really hard for me to watch anime that's not on the TV already.

I usually read the manga first, because it is easier for me to get and usually cheaper.

I watch Cartoon Network a lot and borrow a lot of anime from my friends, so I watch it before I even get the manga, if I choose to. I like to watch anyway to make sure what I'm reading is even worth getting a stash of first.

I like to read the manga first, and then try to watch the anime. But most of the time I watch the anime first because the manga isn't in english yet. I watch the anime in japanese too. You can't pay me to watch Naruto in english.

Read, or at least thats what I try to do first. It's usually better.

With a handful of exceptions, I usually read the manga first. It's a lot more detailed, and while being able to hear a voice is nice, you don't have to press rewind if you want to see something again.

Well...my parents aren't huge fans of mangas or anime so I usually borrow mangas from the library or my friends. Anime I have to say is easier, just downloading them and watch them. I guess watching^^

I generally like manga better than anime anyway, but if someone recommends an anime, I'll usually watch a couple episodes before reading the manga.

Manga first, I've been disappointed by anime too many times. To be on the safe side I'll read first. But if the tv is showing the anime, I'll see first.
