who got it? who didnt, and if so. why not?
i didnt get it because the shipment to Suncoast got ******** up and the boxset one isnt showing up til later this week.
and i went to bed early so i could wake up at 8 to go get it to!! Y_Y Y_Y Y_Y

I didnt get it yet.....im too busy to go out in buy it right now....though ive seen the directors cuts, and they kick so much a**. Plus, isnt there going to be a box set with all of them once they finish releasing these? id rather get that...i heard there is a fancy case that comes with it. I read about it in newtype i think.....i should go pull that out. I also read about a new eva game for ps2, it looks pretty good....but the prototypes for the new...whatchamacallits, the robot that misato had to stop because it went berserk and she had to pull out the reactor....anyhow, that think had a liquid nitro cooling system sticking out of its a** and it looked stupid...

The boxset is on the wishlist. I have no money. My boyfriend is probably going to buy it anyway (And I'm saving up for the Love Hina boxset).
The remaster just looks beautiful! I saw an AMV made with the Japanese imports and the colors are just so much better and sharper then the Eva I'm used to seeing. eek

Cyanna The boxset is on the wishlist. I have no money. My boyfriend is probably going to buy it anyway (And I'm saving up for the Love Hina boxset). The remaster just looks beautiful! I saw an AMV made with the Japanese imports and the colors are just so much better and sharper then the Eva I'm used to seeing. eek yes, they did really good job on "Renewal Project" (that was actual name of the project). I wanna get renewed english, but I already have Korean version, so I don't need it that bad.

I want to get the Platinum Evangelion set, but we barely get any anime where I live, so I'm probably going to wait till the entire series is released in platinum and then order it off of amazon or something.

DarkPrincessOfAngels I want to get the Platinum Evangelion set, but we barely get any anime where I live, so I'm probably going to wait till the entire series is released in platinum and then order it off of amazon or something. Noooo! I'm sorry but I have to stop you there. Don't buy from Amazon unless you don't trust any other anime online shop. Amazon is trustworthy, but dangerously overpriced. If you have to buy online, shop around some wink However, if you absolutely must have it without any risks, Amazon is the way to go. Just think of it as a little more money for insurance.

Anyone know off hand the exact date they will finish releasing the new plat ed and start selling it all togerther in boxed sets ?

There's no exact date. I estimated that if they release a DVD every 2 months, then the Platinum Collection will probably come out around Oct/Nov 2005.
