So you've heard mention of Zenebas before! Now for those who don't know anything about it, you get to learn a few key points concerning Zenebas according to the Zoids Battle Story!

arrow The Zenebas Empire was formed (in ZAC 1978?) when Zenebas Muroa split away from the Helic Republic as led by his brother, Helic II, and fell when absorbed by Guylos in ZAC 2049. Zenebas himself was aggressive and obsessed with defeating his brother, though many of his forces didn't share his fanatacism.

arrow The Prozen versus Camford conflict in the new line is parallel to the original: Prozen is Zenebas' son and wishes to revive his Empire (Neo Zenebas), while Camford is actually Zenebas' daughter, Elena, who took charge of the Republic after Helic in attempt to unite the various sides. Yes, that means both Wolff (Prozen's son) and Hermann are related to Zenebas too and thus (sort of) royalty.

arrow One likely reason Prozen was able to pull off the Neo Zenebas thing? The Guylos Empire was able to absorb the Zenebas lot by betraying them, kidnapping Elena, and generally being not very nice - thus, Prozen was able to capitalize on their suffering and general anger towards both Guylos and Republic forces, using it to rally them to his cause.

arrow Zenebas-y Zoids tend to be more armored than Helic ones, and thus a bit more compact. They're also more organic, though not so muh as the Dark Zoids. Red and silver are common colors, often with black or brownblack, and "eyes" are usually red and sometimes green or smoke. Good examples would be Red Horn, Death Saurer, and Molga.

arrow Metal flake red seems to be a color of Zenebas royalty. Note the Iron Kong Mk.II Limited (which Zenebas may have piloted), the Bloody Death Saurer (Prozen's), and red Energy Liger (Wolff's).

so im not really sure what it is or where it fits in... xp

I'd have love to see them stick Zenebas-ness in the anime, CC/GF... I think it would have added a deeper level of story and really made things WTF and fun in an almost trippy way. I dunno... it's a lot to take in, but I also like stuff like that... something that makes you think and learn more about some of the characters motives. =3

maybe they could make it an anime movie? blaugh

I really should figure out what happens with the Neo Zenebas crushing the Helic in the NJR, at the least I have the beginning of it.

But yeah, I rather like the Zenebas. Would've been nice to have them set up so that they didn't suffer from "They're an empire, empire = bad" kinda thing though. You don't really get any other impressions just from the surface stuff which most people don't try to get through. Zenebas and Guylos (the people) are both downright nasty though.
