This is one of my favorite poems I've done titled Her Voice:
I hear her voice calling to me in the night
It tells me to join her voice in the dark
And though I resist her voice for no
I know I shall join her voice in the end
Her voice promises peace and serenity
But it is said in a voice of utter despair
And though I resist her voice for now
I know I shall join her voice in the end
Her voice can be very persuasive
Her voice can create kings and destroy kingdoms
And though I resist her voice for now
I know I shall join her voice in the end
Her voice is constantly in my mind
I hear her voice whether I am asleep or awake
I have finally given up resisting her voice
This is the end, and now I am with her voice: the voice of Death
