The sound 5 are the 5 most powerful ninja in the sound village these ninja are loyal only to Orochimaru and receive there orders from him alone they each guard the 4 gates to the sound village there leader guarding the village itself.

the leader of the sound 5 as well as Orochimaru's "left" hand man so to speak they are the second most trusted ninja to Orochimaru.
The current leader of the Sound five is the pairing of Soren and Doren(Soulvar) for their outstanding performance thus far.
