I can't really say. I don't own an HH guitar, or anything with a true humbucker. . .
I do love HH though, at least all the ones I've played at the shop.

Triple H = awsomness. I want a Gibson Black Beauty. Though I love my tri-single coils as well. It's a hard choice, but punk plays better on the tri-singles so I would have to go with that.

It depends on my mood and what music I'm playing, but I usually go for HH or SS, on me ES and Tele, respectively.

Simple. All of them. Tone plays an important role in my music. i have 2 demos and i full length cd out right now, and NONE of them used just one guitar to record. on my full length cd (After Image, slapstick records) i used a total of 4 guitars and 3 basses to get the perfect tonal voices for the respective songs.
My solo music is i mix of a few different influences... i would have to call it Expirimental prog-jazz with rock influences. lol. But i like a punchier brighter tone, so i use an SSS mexi strat for alot of the rythm work on the album. For my soloing, i tend to use a mix of both my Frankenstein (a strat with a HSSH configuration) and my HHH 62 LP custom (my baby...found it at a garage sale, bought it for $150. guy didnt know he had one of the original Les Paul custom SG's)

I like H-H's but I don't mind S-S-H's. I like the power of humbuckers and clean of single coils.
