Here are the rules:
Rules...
GENERAL GUILD RULES
1. There shalt be no God Mod, invincibility, or anything of that sort. The Mods here aren’t invincible, and neither are you. It’s one thing to be tough, but even an elder vampire, werewolf, or dragon will not get through a 125mm Howitzer shell and come away completely fine. Regeneration is one thing, but people do not get blown to bits and immediately reform back at full strength. Keep it under control.
2. Romance, fighting, and other angst-ridden subjects are fine in this guild; we enjoy the grittiness of real life displayed on the page. With that being said, we are subject to the ToS of Gaia; sex scenes are best faded to black or taken elsewhere.
3. While the name of this place is Vampire Island, there are other established races here as well. If you don’t like the races presented and wish to make something new, than PM one of the Mods and go over it with us. If we find it unfit for this guild, you will be rejected.
4. Only characters under the permission of Sebastet or someone in her favor may set up residence in the Castle. Everyone else, go find somewhere else to crash.
5. We are all grown up here; we expect people to show it. A minimum of a paragraph is required for a post; that means 5 to 7 sentences in a post, with proper grammar and spelling. We can understand one-liners under certain conditions, but somebody who is nothing but one-liners should probably remove themselves from literate company.
6. Do not run about destroying everything in sight and having a meltdown on a constant basis. Ask the Mods if you can trash a place first; if not, no complaints.
7. When responding to a reply, for the love of God do not quote it!
8. You can fancy up your posts with pictures, colors, or whatever else you wish; but don’t go overboard. We want it legible and not taking up an entire page.
PROFILE RULES
1. When making a profile, see what kind of races are available to choose from. They will include general weaknesses, abilities that they have, and any other neat features that come with the package. If you wish to make something new, check with a Mod first.
2. We expect a complete profile, well written and one that shows creativity. No more of these Mary-Sue’s poor orphan types with mad skills and other ridiculous clichés. We are better than that.
3. If a Mod hasn’t approved your character, PM us. Perhaps we didn’t see it, or we are looking at ways to try and improve it to help it be complete. Do not start posting until we accept the character.
I will add more Rules when I see how these rules work out in a beta testing.

Travel between Realms is strictly made with Portals of some type unless you're a Demon or a God of some type.
If you want to play a god or goddess, you have to have prior approval and MUST set up your own rules for your god or goddess. Weaknesses for them may be known strictly with the Mods and yourself, but they must have one. They have to have things they aren't allowed to do. The one thing they all have in common here that is a BIG DON"T is that they cannot impose on free will, so keep that in mind.
If you make a Human profile, Keep in mind that weaknesses are fairly well understood. We all know that Humans die fairly easy and from a variety of ailments: blood loss, cancer, infection, virtually any major injury to the torso and/or head, poison, etc... The list is really endless as to what can kill a human. We can even die from food poisoning, for crying out loud! So normal humans are the only ones who are exempt from listing a weakness. Immortal Humans can weaken from the same stuff that would kill a normal human and bring them to the point of death, risking full death unless they receive the proper healing attention fairly soon.
Humans and Hunters can carry guns. But don't be stupid with it. No uzi's or mini-uzi's or machine guns and such. We're here for the roleplay, that means words and thought, not trying to godmod. We welcome people who are not suffering from an overdose of stupid.

Alrighty children, Alba is here to update da rules at the behest of our Guild Mistress. It seems that people are not reading or following rules, so I'm gonna make this as simple and painless as possible. If you choose to ignore the rules, behave stupidly, or otherwise make an nuisance or a** of yourself purposely....... somebody's gonna get hurt real bad.
1. Upon arrival to the guild, I direct you to the Races subforum. Here you will find the list of species that are found in this realm. Find the one you want, read it and do as it says. Simple eh?
2. I direct you to the profile page. Follow the profile skeleton and fill in the required data. This one is especially important, because if you do not do this right you will get rejected until you do it right. Save yourselves the trouble and git r done right the first time.
3. I cannot stresss this enough everyone: READ DA RULES! Seriously, read them.
4. If you have any questions whatsoever, please PM one of the Vice Captains or Red herself.
5. Buckle up, it's gonna be a bumpy ride!
6. Seriously, no stupidity. Bad things happen to dumb people around here.
