Couple: Zexion and Demyx
Summary: Demyx gets back from a mission during a thunderstorm and goes to Zexion’s room.
Warnings: Yaoi, possible OCC-ness, and uber fluff.

‘Man…why did Superior send me out tonight of all nights? I hate thunder. It’s so loud and-Ah!’ Demyx thought just as another roar of thunder took over the city. Pulling his hood closer around his head he murmured, “I wonder if this is a real storm, or Marluxia and Larxene are going at it again…” He shuddered and quickly dismissed the thought.

After a few minutes of walking, Demyx finally reached the hallway where all the bedrooms were located. He sighed sadly, the rooms started with Superior’s, so he had to walk all the way up to nine.
‘I bet Superior put it in numerical order so he would have the shortest distance to walk.’ Demyx passed Xemnas’s room, and saw that it was locked up tight; and that meant he was with Saix.
CRACK!
Demyx jumped a little and walked faster. Number Two, Number Three, Number Four… ‘Almost there, almost there,’ he repeated to himself. Number Five, Number Six…
CRACK! BOOOOM!
Demyx yelped softly and pressed himself against the sixth door. He saw a light coming from under the crease and started to whisper, “Zexy…Zexy…Please open the door, I’m afraid…”The door opened almost immediately and there stood the Cloaked Schemer himself, Zexion.
“What’s wrong Demyx-‘’ Zexion stopped in mid-sentence when Demyx threw himself upon him and held him closely. “The thunder?” The blonde man nodded into his shoulder. “Alright, you may stay here tonight. I was just finishing up some work.”
“Thank you Zexy,” Number Nine smiled lightly and stepped into Zexion’s room. Demyx looked around, nothing had changed; the standard Organization room, with the exception of the desk littered with theories and a circle of paper work in the middle of the room.
“Zexy, have you been staying up late to work again?” The lavender haired man didn’t answer, just went to the middle of the circle of paper work and picked up where he left off. Demyx didn’t think badly of Zexion for not answering, he already knew the answer of his own question, but decided to ask anyway.
“You may use the bed.”
“No no! It’s all right; I’ll sleep on the floor. I just don’t want to be alone right now.” A crack of thunder proved Demyx’s point, for he jumped and almost stepped on some of the paper work his friend was working on. “Omigosh, I’m really sorry.”
“Nothing was damaged.”
“Hey Zexy?”
“Yes?”
“Why do you always stay up so late?”
Zexion thought for a moment before he responded, “To finish the theories. I like to get things done as soon as possible.”
“But…if you stay up all night, and get more ideas in the morning, you have no energy to work. And that’s why you always fall asleep Zexy.”
Number Six smiled at the little ‘nickname’ Demyx had given him. He had given everyone in the Organization a nickname, or tried to at least. Xigbar and himself had been the only ones to let him keep it. Although Axel would sometimes bring up the ‘Zexy is sexy’ bit, but Demyx would only get arrogated and tell Axel he was just jealous because he didn’t have a cute nickname. Zexion only laughed and continued with his work, and Xigbar, aka ‘Xiggy’, would snicker to him-self when he saw Demyx puff up his cheeks and yell at the red head.
“Zexy?” The Schemer was snapped out his revenue when he saw Demyx standing in front of him with his finger on his chin. “You look…cute when you do that.” Zexion’s eyes widened and just about fell over when he heard the blonde.
“Excuse me?”
“You look cute when you zone out surrounded by your work.” Demyx just smiled without a care in the world. A blushed immediately rushed up onto the lavender haired man’s face and he quickly looked down.
“Oh, err…thank you,” Zexion looked up to see Demyx covering his ears and crouching over as a long, loud roar of thunder shook the castle. Quietly, Number Six got up and stood before Demyx, permitting him to hang onto him for the time being. And Demyx obliged quickly.
Number Nine wrapped him arms around Zexion’s waist and buried his head into his shoulder. The Schemer inhaled when Demyx’s head rested firmly on him. ‘He smells of rainfall…’ Zexion awkwardly wrapped his arms around the Melodious Nocturne’s neck and held him closely. ‘This is nice,’ He thought as rested his head against Demyx’s.
“Zexy?”
“Hmm?” He replied obliviously.
“You can let go now, the thunder has passed.” Demyx had already released Zexion, but was held in place by the shorter man’s arms.
“Oh, I apologize,” Number Six quickly removed his arms from the blonde’s neck. “Demyx, you smell nice.” Number Nine laughed whole heartedly and smiled at Zexion.
“You don’t have to apologize to me. I like it when you hold me too. And thank you Zexy! You smell just like lavender. Maybe your hair gives off it’s own scent,” Demyx laughed happily when Zexion blushed brightly. But Number Nine didn’t stop there, he bent down and gave the Schemer a small kiss on the cheek then enveloped him in a hug, “You are so cute Zexy!”
Zexion could have died on spot, and still be happy. Demyx had kissed him! ‘Okay, so it was a kiss on the cheek, but it’s still something.’ Yes, Number Six, the Cloaked Schemer himself, had a crush on the Melodious Nocturne. But he quickly recovered, “Demyx, please let me go.”
“Oh, I’m sorry Zexy,” The blonde, being as tall as he is, had lifted Zexion up off the ground by a few inches and left his feet dangling. But of course, Zexion had not minded at all.
“Yes, it’s all right. I think the storm has halted, but you can stay here if you want.”
“Really Zexy?” Demyx was practically beaming. “Thank you so much Zexy. Does that mean you’re coming to bed?”
“I still have my theories to finish.”
“You are coming to bed Zexy.”
“I need to finish…”
“You don’t really have a say in the matter. You’re coming to bed with me,” Indeed Zexion had no choice, Demyx had yet to set him down on the ground. And the lavender haired men knew when he was defeated.
“All right Demyx, you win.” And the blonde wasted no time; he swooped Zexion’s legs up and held him bridal style. He then made his way over to the bed and set the Cloaked Schemer down and smiled.
“Well…”
“Well?”
“Aren’t you going to get you jamies on?”
“Oh well, I, eh…”
“Well what?”
“I sleep in my boxers.”
“…”
“It’s all right Demyx, I’ll just sleep without the coat and boots,” Zexion replied, unzipping his coat to reveal his bare chest. Demyx couldn’t help but stare, the first man he likes (That he remembers) is stripping in front of him.
‘Well, it’s only his jacket, but it’s a start,’ Demyx grinned to himself as Zexion bent down and removed his boots. After watching Number Six crawl up to the top of the bed and settle down into the sheets, then he started to unzip his own coat and get ready for bed.
Number Nine stealthily slinked up the bed and nestled into Zexion’s side, and caused the Schemer’s hair to stand on end. Then Demyx giggled, “Hey Zexy? Can I play with your hair?”
“If that’s what you want.” And Demyx did just that. He brought his hand up to Zexion’s face and ran his hand threw his hair; and Zexion practically purred. Laughing softly, the blonde intertwined the hair that hung in front of his left eye and moved it, to see a piercing red eye staring back at him.
“Is that why you hide your eye? Because they aren’t the same color?” Demyx once again, didn’t get an answer. But this time, Zexion had sat up and leaned over the younger male, and gently pressed his lips against his.
Demyx heard a mumbled ‘yes’ come from the Schemer’s lips and laughed softly into the kiss. Zexion quickly pulled back from the Nocturne when the laugh reached his ears, thinking that Demyx was laughing at him, and promptly hid under the folds of the bed.
“Zexy?” Number Nine asked softly, staring at the lavender hair that wasn’t covered by the comforter. “Zexy?”
“….”
CRACK!
“Zexy please, the thunder is back…” That was when Number Six responded. He simply lifted his arm and pretty much said ‘snuggle in’, but would not look Demyx in the eye. The blonde nuzzled into the crook of Zexion’s neck and wrapped his arms around his waist. He then shifted his lead to stare curiously at his ally.
“What is it,” He demanded more than asked, still obviously embarrassed from the previous moment.
“Can you hold me? I feel safer when you-‘’ Zexion almost immediately wrapped one of his arms around Demyx’s neck and the other around his chest. Giggling softly and leaned up towards Number Six’s face and gave him a peck on the lips. “Thank you Zexy.”
Zexion stared, bewildered, at Demyx. ‘He just kissed me. He kissed me. Willingly. Does that mean…he wants to be with me? Or was it just a thank you. I’ve never seen him do it to anyone else, but then again I’m not always around hi-‘
“You think to much Zexy,” and with that said, Demyx leaned in and kissed Zexion sweetly, pulling him closer. The Cloaked Schemer’s eyes slide shut as he returned the kiss.
Moaning softly, Zexion allowed Demyx entrance into his mouth and the battle began. But of course, after a mild fight, the Schemer had given in and let Demyx have his way. Then Zexion’s hands wandered up and intertwined themselves in the luxurious blonde hair and pulled slightly.
CRACK!
The Melodious Nocturne and Cloaked Schemer pulled apart and looked out the window to see a flash of thunder shoot across the sky. The light illuminated the room and Zexion looked at Demyx.
“Aren’t you afraid?”
“The thunder doesn’t seem so scary anymore.”
CRACK! EROOOOM! Thunder racked across the city and a few trinkets shook on their shelves.
“Okay, so it’s still scary.” And with that said, Demyx nuzzled into Zexion’s chest, waiting for the storm to pass.

Wow, who knew Demyx had a controlling side? Zexion just didn’t seem to fit the part for me. Please remember, I have never written a story with Zexion as one of the characters. x3
I know, he’s probably way off, but I haven’t beaten CoM yet. [Marluxia’s fault!] So I haven’t really seen him in action.
But over all, this was fun to write.
