My and my girlfriend just got engaged- and ditching the ceremonial jewelry s**t we got tattoos instead.
We each got matching circles tattooed above our pantlines on the hip- our engagement rings.
I'm so happy right now. whee

aww, that is so cute
I always liked the idea of getting a tattoo instead of an actual ring
I want to get something tattooed on my ring finger as my wedding ring(and hopefuly I can talk my boyfriend into the same)
Actually going thre the pain and the knowledge of how perminant a tattoo is is so much better then just a loop of metal that can be discarded.
getting ink permantly embeded into your skin just seems so much more romantic 3nodding

Aw that's a really cute idea.
Personally, I would never get a band tattooed on my finger. Maybe I'm just too cynical, but I know a couple people with tattooed fingers who would like to chop them off. Just too permanent for the way my relationships always go.

I think it's very sweet. You two know yourselves best in any case. 3nodding I am a fan of matrimonial tattoos. I have the upper section of my largest tattoo devoted to the union between myself and my husband, and this summer, hubby's getting me tattooed to his arm redface heart
Of course this type of tattoo all depends on the individuals involved. Anyone who has the slightest inclination that the relationship may not last should obviously not do it xp
