Ive mentioned it before in one or two of my prevous posts...I am a poor wrestler..this was made very aparent when in an exercise in which the goal was simply to get the other man off the mat (with very little restrictions on what you can do) i foun myself losing every time I was up (noting that most of the time my opponent outweighed me)
Can anybody give me some advise/ tips on basic wrestling and taking down people heavier then you?

if you could also point me toward any source of info that can help me on the matter that is good to

Thank you

With bigger guys you need to be fast and stay out of reach use there size as a way to unbalance them.

My cousin got behind me and had me in a bear hug so fast I hardly seen him move if he was stronger I would have been on the ground. I would say make them come to you and move around if they get both your legs your screwed and if you are on the ground i can't realy help you I am more of a stand up grappler.

put pressire on them, their reaction is to push back, use that to ur advantage, and use it as a lever.

then, try some of these bjj and jjj moves....

there are many many ways to do what you are asking. i can give you one tip. keep your center of gravity low. it makes it harder to move you. but for the best help i recomend looking into brazillian jujitsu. its a gerat grappling art that ive haad some experiance in. its a very simple style but it does aid alot in grappling.

Brazillian Jujitsu is the best, im a hefty guy and ill tell you speed is your best weapon. keep moving, wear him out, and dont worry if hes bigger than you, grappleing is like a chess game, wait for it long enough and he will make a mistake and hand you the victory.
