hey it's my b'day soon and im stuck on weather to go for a jackson dk2 or an rr3. i play mostly metal, some classic rock.

Hmm, have you tried both of them out? I personally like the feel of Jacksons. The necks are beautiful.

I also don't known much about Jacksons. Go to a shop, try them both and figure out which one you like.

If you plan to go past the 22nd fret then go with the DK2. If you don't really play alot of metal and rock that has crazy solos and crap then go with the RR3. There's also the choice on how you feel comfortable because not alot of people like to sit down with the RR horizontally (I do it sometimes) or like to have one of the end in between their feet which I don't mind. I definitely say try them both out first.

i hate the look of jacksons. but they play nicely. get either. u wont tell the difference

well i finaly made my desition and hav now ordered a new model dk2 with the seymour duncans, bot the crappy duncan designed ones. and it's in eerie dess swirl witch i can say is worth the extra cash. thnx to you all for ur help.
