Hello! Here's a thought Futanari-san and I came up with: if a Harvest Moon game could have any feature you wanted in it, what would you want in it? This topic was posted on the site Harvest Moon Farm a loooooooooong time ago, and I thought it would be fun to ask you guys what you think! ^_^ So post your thoughts! ^.^

Here's some of the features listed on HMFarm that actually did come true! eek
1)New girls, not just like the 5(ann, maria, etc.) and more, but totally new, different. personalities, and preferable 10 to choose from!

2)Different farm look, there would be a separate. barn for sheep and cows, and you could plant TREES on the farm, and bushes, and flowers that stay.

4)Different animals! Why can't their be like... goats, pigs and stuff? maybe not pigs for MEAT, but pets? and goat milk?

6)Different view of character. Sick of that overhead birds-eye view? This would be AWESOME! Just think, harvest moon in Zelda view? or possibly perfect dark or Goldeneye view(where u just see hands and tools, not body) or maybe switch between views?!?!?

23)Think virtual reality! No cheesy red lines, the whole deal! This would be awesome!

27)There could be sprinklers that you set up and they water your crops at a certain time(you can have more than one).

34)If you could collect pets and animals from the wild(more variety in animals too)

35)Your child could grow older. In HM64 it stays a toddler even when its like 9 years old.

36)You could have different pets like a bird, goldfish or cat and you would have to feed them everyday just like your cows.

37)More extensions! You could customize your house. You wouldn't have all the extensions exactly the same in every game. You could have a room added on to a different side of the house or some thing.

Just think: SquareEnix-quality CG cutscenes. ::drools at the thought:: Something that beautiful could kill you. Here's an example scenario:
::Sakura pops in "Harvest Moon Fantastic Life" (made by Marvelous and SquareEnix) into her next-gen console::
Sakura: ::music note:: heart
::game boots up::
::immensely awesome opening animation starts, a hoe digging into the dirt:: ::pan up to Jack, removing a handkerchief from his pocket and wiping his brow, each hair on his head rendered to wave in the wind in an individual pattern:: ::pan up to the sky:: ::Nobuo Uematsu-composed theme starts:: ::All the girls are displayed in some manner, each one rendered in astonishing CG:: ::Next is Jack brushing his so-realistic-looking-you-can-almost-smell-the-manure cow, his chickens and ducks roaming around in the yard around him:: ::dog runs by chasing cat, both looking happy:: ::Jack looks up as if someone was calling him:: ::it's the Harvest Sprites Nik, Nak, and Flak, and they're waving at him, beckoning him to follow:: ::Jack enters into a secluded glade that seems to glow, and in the center of the glade is a pond:: ::growing beside the pond are flowers, and Jack, looking puzzled, reaches down, picks the flowers, and throws them in, at the request of the Harvest Sprites:: ::incredible magicky scene in which the Harvest Goddess pops out of the spring plays:: ::she smiles at Jack, and then casts a spell that makes the screen go white, the theme music growing to a build up:: ::Main title appears on screen:: ::New Game? That would be soo cool! Lol, I'm an author by personal choice, so it was actually pretty easy to come up with that. 3nodding It just came to me while Futanari-san and I were PMing back and forth. I know that that would be head-explodingly beautiful enough for me. xd

AshRB I wish you could choose what your character looks like.And that cutscene was awesome!*drools with everyone else* In HMGBC3, you could change the color of your farmer's clothes, bandana, and hair, but you couldn't change how they looked. sweatdrop Look! Gothic farmers! rofl
