From now on please use the Advice and Prayer Requests Subforum.
~Dragon Warrior X  Here you post your prayer requests. You can be as specific or as vague as you feel comfortable.
Once in a while all I ask is if you post your prayer's check to see if others have posted and pray for theirs.
I'm going to share my expierence with prayer. I don't know if anyone else is like this but I have a journal that I write my prayers in. I don't know why but I feel more close if I write them.
The only rule I have is be truthful to yourself and God. Well and everyone else that reads your post. But as you know God knows all, so you don't need to put a name down. Just put whatever is comfortable to you.

Update on my cousin's youngest daughter. Tiana (T for short) Good and bad, good is well she is at home, but the bad thing is they think they need to put her shunt back in... into her spine, since its the easiest to remove it if needed from there.
We might see them for christmas, if so then well that would be awesome. 4laugh
Nevertheless we think she will go back to surgery, not sure yet.

I_Love_The_Bunny Update on my cousin's youngest daughter. Tiana (T for short) Good and bad, good is well she is at home, but the bad thing is they think they need to put her shunt back in... into her spine, since its the easiest to remove it if needed from there. We might see them for christmas, if so then well that would be awesome. 4laugh Nevertheless we think she will go back to surgery, not sure yet. The holidays are comming up. For a lot of people, this is a stressful time, and it also can make for some dangerous traveling conditions. In addition to that, more suicides happen around Christmas time than at any other time of year, ( the holidays can be extreamly depressing if you are spending them alone). I think we need to remember to be in prayer for our loved ones, those we see around us who may be struggleing with issues in their lives, and of course guild members who are going through hard times or who will be traveling. I hope everyone has a joyful and safe Christmas, and God bless. heart

Ok....My friend's dad is an alcoholic, and he gets her to makes all his alcholic drinks. She could tell you the recipe for ANY alcoholic drink ever made. Her mom is never around, and her dad is a party animal. So could you please pray that things get better with her? In her parents' eyes, she a full functional adult/bartender.

I have a very scientific and analytical mind. I've looked at everything around me and wondered if any of it's real. And with that, have started to slip out of believing. I know in my spirit that I ws created by God, but my mind is getting in the way. I need help to keep my faith up. Please pray for me.

My cousin is getting into some hardcore drugs and just generally a bad part of life. She called me hysterical yesterday, because she woke up in some guy's apartment, and she couldn't remember his name or how she got there. I'm worried that she's going off the deep end. I want to help her, but I don't know how. Could y'all pray for her?

I am very much an intellectual, and I know that I over think things sometimes. also know in my deepest heart that there is a God, but sometimes the world can really drag you down mentally. Will definantly be praying for you and ask that others pray for me in this area also, because it is something that I have been struggling with recently too. And just to let people know, I check this strand frequently, and pray for the request on it every chance I get, so the requests don't just fall on deaf ears.

I have a request of my own.
In April (Easter Day) My mother and I will be baptized and confirmed in the faith. I was rather excited about it, before.
Recently, a priest who I loved and trusted very much brutally beat another person very dear to me, someone I know well. I've faced betrayal before, many times by friends, but never anything like this. Slowly, my faith in anything seems to be leaving. My parents say I'm 'withdrawn' and I won't really talk to them, and haven't spoken a word to my friends.
At first, I tried so hard not to think about it, but it's kind of hard not to. Please pray that my faith is strengthened by this, in the end, and not destroyed.

Ugh... I have the flu from hell. I have no idea when I'm going to get better, but I need to get better quickly because my throat's so swollen that it's hard for me to swollow or move my head around at all and I need to start eating normally again, because I'm already underweight and this can't be too good. I don't have an eating disorder, mind you, I just have a slim frame and a very high metabolism. But yeah, getting sick like this has put me back at least five pounds, and I need to gain weight so that I can get the surgery on my jaw to keep me from having dentures at forty.

I got one. My mom is about to donate one of her kidneys and I'm just a little worried about what'll happen afterwards. I know it's a pretty minor surgery but I'm just paranoid that something will go wrong.
