Grr.
I just got it this week. I usually buy it at Waldens but theyre so retarded anymore. So now I just go to Atomik Pop.
I love Volume 8!! Near is definitely L's heir. Light needs to watch what he's doing. Hes getting sloppier with his movements....and he needs to quit yelling at Ryuk! I mean Ryuk doesnt HAVE to be there technically......

Oh, you noticed too, yeah, he seems to be relying on the powers of the death note more than taking the time to find another way of keeping himself safe...but four years of no competition can affect someones judgement.

I don't like Mello at all anymore. He's really.. funky. o__o;
And I have to say, that tower of dice Near made.. that made me smile, but the whole manga missed the key element of 'L'.
What can I say? I adored L and now he's gone, so I miss him very much.
Raito does seem to be going downhill. He's gonna lose at this rate. Dx
Can't wait for the next one.

Its sad that L was gone, but what I really admire is that Death Note is so good that it can keep the story going without the main character and can still be just as fun. The best things usually have the most sacrifice in them. 3nodding
