Marching band's about to wrap up this week and winter percussion is starting soon. Monday to be exact. Our instructors already picked out our show and I was wondering who else knew their show. =D If you have a a link, post it so we can all hear it! We (the battery instructor and I) have almost picked out our students show. We are probably gonna do H2O or House from MSConcepts.com. Check em out cause they are pretty cool. I was in the "Virus" show last year. But I graduated so I'm auditioning for Blue Knights this year

Blue Knights, huh? That's where our colorguard instructor was before he came to my school.
I think our show is from msconcepts, too xD I listened to H20 and it does sound pretty cool. I like it^^

I'm sad that marching season's almost over; it's been a blast (although I know we can do better). I can't wait until winter percussion! Last year, we got unanimous superiors all the way, even for regionals! But this year, we're not going to have as many people as we had last year. That doesn't mean we're not as good, though.

xD We were all right last year.. our show was relatively easy, we only had 19. We totally exploded this year, so hopefully it'll turn out all right <.<''

Our show is called "Masque of the Red Death" .. it's frikkin amazing. I can't send you a link to anything casue our Pit instructor and our Assigstant Band Director wrote it... so yeah. Maybe i can put up a recarding of us playing. I'm playing vibes, which was my second choice, so i'm pretty happy. I'm uber excited cause, again, OUR SHOW IS FLIPPING AMAZING!!!! 3nodding

our show is about the salem witch trials...and it being written by squeak (thats what he likes to be called(i forgot his really name...but hes kinda big and oriental(and really awesome))) i havent even seen the music but io heard the opening song is from the undertakers theme song in thw wwe wrestling or whatever one it is...and the songs he is writting is based off of the same guy who wrote the music from nightmare before christmas, edward sizzor hand, and such. im scared though 'cause i also heard it goes all the way up to 160...and thats fast for a person switching from a french horn to mallets.

Okee. So My boss decided that he wanted to go with a competely different show. So Now Our Students are gonna perform "The House" from MSConcepts. But instead of a haunted house theme, We are gonna make it a show about a nightmare

Our BD is still writing our music for winter percussion, but we do know what it's called (Moving Day) and we have the first piece. I'm playing in pit (T.Bells so far...)

yay winter precussion!
we have our music, and have been practicing for a wile. we had to start early cuz some of the people in mallets didnt know how to play. *Dies* but we are doing really well. i'm still playing Crasy Cymbals for it.

Our pit instructor's son is writing our show again this year. It's called "Rumor Has It", and has some crazy runs in the Marimbas and Xylophones. I play Marimba, and because we have a small section the year, I get one for all by myself!!
