i went on to suikosource today and saw this.  it is supposed to be a tactics style game that takes place after suikoden 4. this explains why konami trademarked the name suikoden tactics only about a month ago. i am glad that there is a new suikoden but disappointed that it is a tactical rpg. i have never been a fan of tactics games(i hated ff tactics).

by the way, from what i have read in the suikosource forums the guy in the red is the hero of the game and his name is kyril.
guy with glasses is andarc.
woman with bow gun is seneca
black haired girl is raracl or racral

japanese release date is fall 2005. us release should follow soon after. konami trademarked the name in the u.s. last month before anybody even new if the new game rumors were true or not.

isn't there a conflict between sigurd and his brother? maybe the game deals with that?

Kenton Alkemi Kyril looks surprisingly similar to Sir Sigurd... sweatdrop That's what I was thinking... It's kind of like FF: Tactics. In the picture with Kyril's portrait in the corner (first one at the op), they have portraits of some of the people on the battlefield. If you look closely, pictures 5-7 look a lot like Eleanor, Hervey, and Kika.
