Hi! I'm Roseyjoy.
... Well... I've been foruming since my last year(s) in undergraduate school, but I only registered to Gaia last November. I wanted to check it out. It's really nice to find a good amount of people my age (or older ;P ), so I'm very honored and pleased to be here. 3nodding
Let's see... Right now I'm attempting to be employed as a teacher for a very frustrating school district. xd I just graduated with a Masters this past spring and ... uh ... I'm a very dorky young woman. o_O
I don't watch much TV, but when I do, I enjoy the Discovery Channel, the History Channel, HBO, the Animal Planet, Comedy Central, and TLC. I also watch MTV and VH1 on occasion. The TV show I've followed most recently is Project Runway. I like watching sports on occasion (watching Terrell Owens get upset - har har, ice hockey, basketball, and ballroom dancing. Yes, my tastes are ecclectic.)
I also like watching anime every once in a while. I just finished the series Ergo Proxy... which was a really intriguing show, though I didn't like the very ending - it was worth the watch. Another recent favorite is Monster, which like Ergo Proxy, is a very nicely done suspense/triller.
I enjoy playing console/pc games, though I'm not very good at them. Call of Duty, Squaresoft games (FF series & KH), Halo (1&2), Starcraft/Warcraft, Syberia II, and XIII are the ones I've played more recently and liked.
I also like Thai iced tea, Bubble/Bobba tea, sushi, tempura, Korean food, Italian pasta, burritos, mango juice, fresh fruits, dark chocolate, orange juice, strawberry cheesecake, Pho ga, Pad thai, artichokes, potato chips, tortillas with hot salsa, and spinach.
While I may be making myself sound very busy, I'm actually a rather boring gal at the moment; just trying to grab a steady salary.
Update: I'm still a rather boring gal, working pretty much non-stop and certainly not getting enough sleep. I'm working in one of the lowest performing inner-city schools in my area. I am trying my best to be positive, but I do become a feisty ball of negativity every once in a while - particularly when I'm especially sleep-deprived and when my body is feeling ill from all the stress. eek Don't I sound like a lovely lady to spend time with at the moment. wink On the bright side, I have plenty of stories to share. xd

That is a good intro. I love sushi too, and sometimes make my own.
I figured seeing this is a guild for old people, it might be good to use a bigger font. lol
