Man light you never change 3nodding (not that i've really know you to long) but it always seems like you want evidence, which isn't nessaryly a bad thing, just some times you gotta have a little faith. mrgreen (this is really just a side note and isn't ment to be offensive.) 4laugh
eny who about blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, where ever you heard this from it was probably talking about one of these verses.
Mark 3:29
But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation:
Matthew 12:31
Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blaspemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.
what hapens here is that Jesus heals someone who is possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb. then the pharisees (bad people) see this and think that since Jesus can heal someone with a devil inside him that he must be the prince of the devils. and of course Jesus knows that they are thinking this so he says "if satan cast out satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?" then he tells them the two verses above.
So pritty much this saying means that you are calling the way the Holy Spirit works to be untrue. and acourding to Jesus that is really bad. xp so bad it's like unforgivable. sad

Well I believe speaking in tongues happens when you are filled with the Holy Spirit. But it all depends on what you believe. Blaspheme of the Holy Spirit may also mean to disobey the Holy Spirit.

Well I believe speaking in tongues happens when you are filled with the Holy Spirit. But it all depends on what you believe. Blaspheme of the Holy Spirit may also mean to disobey the Holy Spirit. do you have any scriptural references to back this up, and also when you say disobey...meaning????

(rev. 8:8, 8:12, 16:3, 16:4, 16:10) that's why i say i wouldn't worry about it, we are only given a short time on this earth and when it's your time does it really matter if you die by a bomb or by old age?

I don't think revelations is completely literal, but yes I believe your right, what Light is afraid of is if he did blaspheme against the spirit of GOD, and if America is going to truly be bombed what hope does Light have if he's going to hell when he gets blown up along with America!?!?!?!?!?!?
