i think that LKH based anita off of herself with a lot of features...bc she is a small woman...im 5'6 and she stood shorter than me...
she has the long dark curl/wave hair...
she's pale...haha
coincidence?!

It makes sense. There are personality similarities too.
Of course, the whole raising the dead thing, numerous guys, and cop affiliation... that's gotta be unique. blaugh

Freaky fact of the day, one of the shorts of Laurell for her novels looks like me. I swear she could be me in like 10-20 years. I just colour my hair blond and don't wear bright red lipstick...

Yea. I could see her being based upon herself. It would makes sense. I just wonder who the other characters, if any, are based upon.

Lolli Gag Yea. I could see her being based upon herself. It would makes sense. I just wonder who the other characters, if any, are based upon. i met her husband too...he's got long blondish brownish hair...about 6'...something...haha...i bet there's a bit of her husband in most of them... ^_^ XD

nice...oh...and dont let any of the possible RP's get out of here...she shuts them down. one of the things she mentioned during the book signing is that she appreciates the fans and such...but she has to keep the RP to a minimum of none...since her books are sometimes...or most of the time...pulled out of her head at random and she doesnt know where they're going from book to book, she cant worry about writing something and someone blaming her for 'stealing' the plot line from an RP...that could cause a lot of trouble...so she shuts them down or tries to...*shrug* partedclouds I heard that Micah's based off her current husband, and Richard's her ex. Russian Havker i think that LKH based anita off of herself with a lot of features...bc she is a small woman...im 5'6 and she stood shorter than me... she has the long dark curl/wave hair... she's pale...haha coincidence?! i think not! ^_^ The physcial appearance thing brings up a pet peeve of mine. Anita talks a lot in the books about being 'curvy'. But when she stats numbers, it kinda contradicts that. Like, she said her weight was, what, 110? And she was a size 6? I'm 5'3" and I've been 110 lbs/size 6 (I've since discovered that vegging out doesn't necessarily involve veggies, heh). You'd have to be very scrawny everywhere else to have the big breasts she's constantly on about. I think one quote was "Anything under a size 5 isn't a woman, it's a boy with breasts"? considering she's barely much bigger than that herself, she isn't exactly one to talk. Sigh.

XD im 5'6" and i've been all over the place with weight... lifting weights i went up to about 170lbs...then i stopped when i dropped outta highschool...went from 170lbs to my current weight of about 135lbs... i think 6 is too small...*shrug* im a 10 (give or take) it also depends on who makes the pants...*shrug* i not much on the curves either...lol...so me being a B-cup and size 10 @ 5'6"...*shrug* w/e...lol
