 -A huff of satisfaction escaped the blue cub as his claws finally snapped the bizzare stringing. The poor bracelet probably belonged to some lioness somewhere in the lands. But he'd found it hidden among the grasses and it was beyond repair now.
Beads spilled upon the ground, his emerald eyes quickly following after them as they skidded to a rest. Oh how he loved to break things.. to assert his pressence above things.
And nothing did that more then watching it fall to pieces beneath his tiny paws. Golden tail tuft flicking with soft contentment, he stepped forward softly, positioning his paw over the rounded wood beads. Maybe he could break those too.-

 Verdad was in her normal nap. it was one of the only times that her body actually slowed down during the day and yet her tail still twitch from time to time as her energy threatened to send her off again. Soon, it won. Green eyes fluttered open with their usual race followed by a loud and undeniably cubish yawn. She licked her chops and blinked the grogginess from her vision. Her tail tapped against her thigh until she finally gave in to her nature. Red waved paws padded along the dirt as she tried to find something to do.
"Something to do..."
Suddenly, a shiny bead rolled past her paws. It intrigued her to no end. She pounced on the smalln wooden ball as it passed and laughed triumphantly. "Ha! Beads can't get past me."

-His paws pressed downward, trying hard to squash the wooden circle, going so far as to press his weight against the soft object. But it didn't give in the least, instead simply pressing into the dry dirt beneath him, becoming imbedded in sun tanned soil.
Giving a less then amused claw at the dirt around the soil, he gave up boredly, eyes twitching upwards to follow the path of more of the tiny beads. Crouching softly as he crept towards the mass of wooden circles, he suddenly stopped as a sound touched his ears. A voice.. and close at that?
Eyes turning gently to try and follow the sound, he waited for movement in the grasses, ready to pounce at the slightest sign.-

Verdad was too enthralled with the small wooden bead to care about much of anything. She scrambled after it as the bead rolled from under her clumsy red paws. Emerald eyes watched as it tapped against another of it's kind. The two nearly identical beads confused her. It was normal to see a few beads here and there but never so close together and never the exact same thing. Easily amused, the small orange cub batted at whichever was closer, sending the second even farther than she could have thrown it.
"Cool..."
The young lioness crounched down and pounced on the two beads sending them farther away. Her suprisingly sharp eyes caught movement. Blue movement. Her heart jumped as she pondered who it could be. Of course there was only one blue moving thing that big in her memory.
"Matsai! Come out and play with me."

-Matsai? His muscles loosened momentarily. Whatever was drawing near knew his twin? And yet the voice was unfamiliar.. Some friend that his brother had kept secret? Well well... that wasn't very friendly at all.
Smirk settling upon Ahai's face he wondered if he could actually pull off the charade of being his brother.. but almost immediately knew the answer. His forehead would give him away.
Slipping through the grasses however, he stopped nearer, still mostly hidden behind the blades as he called out lightly.- "And what would you like to play?"

Verdad laughed as she crouched down. "Why are you hiding Matsai?" She didn't want to get an closer in fear of touching him. Her tail flicked as she rolled one of the small beads under the pads of her paw. Matsai was different today. He even smelled differnt.
"You got wierd. Why don't you smell normal?"
Her curiousity took a immediate backseat to the word 'play'. She jumped up, spinning happily in the air. "Can we race? Or could we just run really fast." Her eyes were wide with excitement.

-He smelt different, and quite certainly acted different, and she'd been quite astute enough to pick up on it. So Ahai crouched once more, straining between grass blades to make out the form of the little female. But as of yet it was only brightly colored patches.
Fidgeting upon his back paws he finally sprung, body flying through the grass as he pounced, set on simply knocking into her, perhaps trapping her. He was getting pretty good at it these days.
Unintent on really hurting her, he was far too interested in this secret friend of his brother, his emerald eyes locked onto her, calling out with a snide little grin.- "I'm hunting not hiding and I'm sure I'm WAY faster then you."

Verdad shifted happily on her paws. Her nap had left her groggy but a nice run would do wonders. Matsai was acting differently. Much differently. He'd never completely hid himself from her before but maybe he was playing a game. she took a step closer, sniffing at the strange scent he brought. He normally didn't smell that way.
She leant forward slightly as the streak of blue knocked her to the ground. The breath knocked from her small body, Verdad covered her head with her paws. She didn't want to see him like this. She didn't even touch him this time.
Her orange body curled up in a tight ball as memories flooded her.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to..."

-A proud smirk touched him as he landed properly, paws pressed softly against his vibrant fur. And his eyes searched her markings curiously. Her colors really were nice.. bold, like his twins and his. But suddenly she was cowering and he drew his maw in close to her paws.-
"Didn't mean to what?" -His face constrewed almost to a comical expession, confusion touching him. He didn't share his brother's problem, nor particularly notice it, considering his own ability to bypass the affliction.
Lifting one paw, he batted at the paws she hide beneath, laughing as he taunted.- "And you're calling me weird."

The small orange cub quivered in fear. She didn't like being knocked down. Her tail went limp as she began to slowly move her paws away from her face with his coaxing. Her immediate reaction to the cub above her was curiousity.
This certainly wasn't Matsai.
Her eyes starred blankly at the look alike. It confused her to no end hat they looked so similar. He had mentioned a brother. Maybe this one was him. She could have asked anything. His heritage. His siblings. Even his name...but this was Verdad and that was out of the question.
"You're not Matsai..."
Her brow furrowed at his taunting. 'I'm not wierd. Matsai knocked me down before. I didn't do anything this time so I was...scared"

-The soft sensation of her body quivering beneath his drew up a bizzare pleasure in the boy, and his grin grew without his notice. Like a prey animal, but she didn't fit back nearly as much. That wasn't much fun.. even if it was cool to watch her cower and fret.-
"No Matsai is my twin. I'm Ahaiyuta."
-At her comment he finally withdrew himself, letting his tricolored paws once again touch the dirt, as his tongue stuck out of his mouth.- "What's wrong with wrestling and knocking down? Me and Matsai do it all the time, and he doesn't cower like a baby."
-Taking a light n** in the general direction of her haunches, he teases more.- "HE wrestles and fights back. It's his favorite game." -Okay, so maybe not his favorite, but he never minded and sometimes even smiled when they did.-

Verdad wanted to bury her head in the sand. His gaze frightened her. She didn't like feeling the same as those beetles as she gave chase. Her tail twitched, half with her energy, half in fright. THis wasn't fun at all in her eyes.
"Ahaiyuta?..." The blue cub did look quite like Matsai but they acted so differently. Her friend ould never have voluntarily kept her petrified with fear.
"I don't like being knocked down. I can't touch him anyway. It hurts him..."

"Yep, Matsai and Ahai. Twins. Best friends." -Or so her thought atleast. His brother always held at a pedastol above. He was growing a little irritated now however.
Why hadn't Matsai told him about this girl? Why the hell did Matsai even care to play with her? As of yet she seemed dreadfully boring. A wuss and weaking like their youngest sibling. The only thing at all interesting about her was her colors.
Huffing softly he turned, casting his eyes once more to the savannah.- "Yeah well you're boring. And if you hurt him, then why would he want to play with you?"

Verdad cocked her brow as he spoke about them. Best friends? But Matsai was her best friend. Her only friend infact. Why hadn't he told her more about the supposed twin brother he had? She scowled at the blue cub utterly unamused by his little game.
"That wasn't a very nice thing to do, pretending that you were him. What the hell is your problem?" She didn't realize that she had picked up that quite unsavory attitude from her older brother. It was the first time she had snapped at someone else besides him anyways. Of course, she was still young and impressionable, easily irritated by behavior that she didn;t exhibit. Rudeness was not in her vocabulary until she met him.
"...And I am not boring."

-Ears lifted and his eyes drifted back to the girl as she snapped, and he laughed, turning to look at her once more, making sure she noticed how much his juvinile body towered over her tiny cubby one.- "I can pretend to be whoever I want to. It ain't hurting anyone."
-Drawing up the corners of his maw in a soft growl, he narrowed his eyes once more.- "You're the one with the problem, acting like such a little brat baby over something so stupid."
-Stalking a few steps away he spat, a visible and childish symbol of the disgust the little girl was rippling through him at the moment.- "Are all girls this stupidly annoying and bratty? Sheesh."
