地蔵菩薩是So what are you all doing for the Annual Gift-Giving Holiday? My family stopped celebrating a few years ago. Too expensive, too stressful. We were just happy to have a home, healthy, and to be together. We're all (mostly) adults now, so it doesn't really matter to us. My friends on the other hand ...
We always have a gift-exchange thing on New Year's Eve. It's great! 萬知通

If we're talking about 'Christmas'/holidaysrelativetothis then I'll go on a rant on that. My sister is returning with her child and boyfriend for Christmas where we have a white tree that glows by itself up and we hand out presents to each other. I think she's santa this year. We also go over to my grandma Corbin's and have a huge Corbin Christmas, its traditional that we do it every year, although every year it deteriates to the point that we don't think it'll happen next year. Probably because the dog that is over there keeps shitting on the carpet... Or possibly because my grandma is old and totally out of it. I cannot wait, because Christmas is my birthday and that means I can also have friends/half brothers over and give them gifts and the what not. Also at school people give me gifts all the time. I wonder what they have in store for this year?

When I was with my mom I'd decorate the tree, and we'd make cookies together and stuff. Then on Christmas Eve, my dad would come over and sleep on the couch. After my mom moved me out of state, and my dad brought me back and all that, I didn't really have a christmas. I'm not sure what we did. I really want to set up a Christmas tree again! I'm the ******** bomb at putting the lightson right and everything! We're playing O Come All Ye Faithful, and when I pluck it it sounds like the lights we would put on our tree. They would flash to the music, or flash and not play music, or just be there and stuff. It was wonderful..

ஐღ For the last two years, really, Gaia is the only place that I've been celebrating Christmas. So I'm extra-thankful for the Admin Team and the Developers for all that they do for us during the Holidays. It's like getting gifts that I don't have to find room for in my real living space! xD

For our family, we basicly go to my grandparent's house, hang out a bit, get our free crap, and go.
As each year passes, we celebrate less and less. Works for me, though.
I'm also glad for the lack of excitement before hand. I hated it when I was younger and couldn't sleep the night before

ஐღ It seems everyone's family is celebrating less and less. I guess that's just the way it goes. Kids grow up, grandparents get older. Things change, and family traditions must go with the flow.

For our family its whoever is the youngest gets spoiled the most. My sister's baby, Nathan, is the youngest now. He's about...6months or so old. Also she lives out of Iowa, so that also makes him special. He's definitely going to be overly spoiled this Christmas ^^

My friends (IRL) say that they're all done buying for me, even though I asked them last year if they wouldn't mind not getting me anything this year, because I was pretty sure I couldn't afford to buy anything for them. This is going to be awkward. sweatdrop

They're your friends, they probably understand the situation, so they won't feel bad that you weren't able to get anything for them. heart

You're right. They do know about my situation, so if they get upset then it's not really my fault. Thank you for your clarity biggrin
