Unslaine
Embodiment of Creation

User Image
  • Name: Unslaine, Striker, Amarinthine
  • Age: Immortal, beyond time
  • Race: Unknown, Unslaine is the emobodiment of creation. She takes a humanoid form when manifesting physically, though.
  • Eye color: Violet tending towards lavander and touched with gray
  • Skin color: Very darkly tanned
  • Body build: Slim with a somewhat androgynous cast too her, though she just manages to pass as female when she manifests physically
  • Hair color/length/style: Long, wavy locks of black tinged with violet highlights (think similar to black-blue hair, but purple instead)
  • Unusual Features: Unslaine, though she appears to step, actually walks just barely above the ground with an unnatural grace that makes her seem to glide.
  • Clothing: A snowy white nearly sleeveless dress and matching seamless gloves, both tinged with violet hues. The dress's skirt falls loosely to her ankles and the overall style of the dress should be fairly casual. She leaves her feet bare.
  • Weapons: None
  • Jewelry: Very little, if any, of pale golds decorated with amythest and other violet stones
  • Character Personality: Though Unslaine hasn't actually been as active in the mortal worlds as her counterpart Ragnarok, she dissembles much more easily than Ragnarok. Behind the appearance of an immortal in mortal guise, though, is a very devious and cunning mind of a jealous lover, for once that was what she and Ragnarok might have been considered after a fashion, and what she strives for again through her own weilder.
  • Class: None

Description:
Neatly breaking six feet tall and no more or less rests a dreamlike figure. Whilst gender is hidden behind an androgynous form, there is a certain slender and supple feminine cast to the features. Large eyes of a dull violet-gray that shun the touch of light and reflection observe from a face surrounded by wisps of raven black that reflect the light in a violet hue off their strands. A voice like the tinkling of a chorus of bells gives the observer a reason to tag her as female despite the indefinitive form. She is clothed in a pale slip of a dress shaded in white with tinges of violet about the edges and barely enough sleeve to hover over her darkly tanned skin. Seamless gloves of white further contrast her dark shade over hands that seem as if they would bear the gentlest touch. Her feet are left bare, but if one takes note, they never actually touch the ground as she walks.

Ragnarok
Embodiment of Destruction

User Image
  • Name: Ragnarok, Dark Star, Fated, Godslayer, among others
  • Age: Immortal, beyond time.
  • Race: Unknown, Ragnarok is the embodiment of destruction. He takes a humanoid form when manifesting physically, though.
  • Eye color: Green
  • Skin color: Pale, like the face of the moon
  • Body build: Slim, androgynous
  • Hair color/length/style: Much like Bhryn's, Rag has white hair with pale green highlights cropped short aorund his face.
  • Unusual Features: Ragnarok's ears are pointed like an elf's, but he doesn't show any elven heritage in his face. Also
  • Clothing: A black surcoat bearing only the faint sparkles of green lights against the dark livery. Beneath that a long sleeved and three quarter length tunic in dark green and close fitted trousers of a black material that shimmers. His feet are clad in seamless boots.
  • Weapons: None
  • Jewelry: None
  • Character Personality: Ragnarok is very literal and detached from mortals. Common phrases and sayings (such as "babysitting") he will completely misinterpret. (Draggy asked him to babysit one time and his reply was "You want me to sit on babies?"). Of course, Rag isn't without some sense of humour that he's picked up over the millenia. He can be a very dirty-minded sword-spirit sometimes, as his weilder and her sister will attest.
  • Class: None.

Description:
No taller than six feet, the figure glides across the floor as if with unearthly grace. Whilst the sex of the figure remains somewhat androgynous in the face, the form is most definitely male. The very slender frame is clad in a black surcoat bearing only the faint sparkles of green lights against the dark livery, beneath a long sleeved and three quarter length tunic in dark green and close fitted trousers of a black material that shimmers: the feet seem to wear strange footwear, almost like boots without seam or mar. The face is slightly feminine in cast around the eyes, these a dark green with hidden pale viridian highlights. Hair, white that lends itself towards pale grass tints, is cut in a feathered style about the high cheekboned face. The ears are sharply pointed but the cast of the figure does not suggest elven ancestry, and his skin is as pale as moonlight. Many names he uses: Dark Star, 'Slayer, Fated and more commonly... Rag..

Unslaine and Ragnarok's Relationship

Unslaine and Ragnarok have both existed since before time being representations of the forces of creation and destruction respectively, each with their own view of how the multiverse should be shaped. Those opposing and conflicting views worked against each other but together to shape how things would be. When the gods of the multiverse came into existance, they argued and bickered constantly warring with each other. One of the gods had the 'bright' idea to create a sword that would harness the force of destruction, essentially a godslaying sword. Thus was Ragnarok created, however because the force of destruction is impartial, eventually the sword turned on the god that created him, slaying him as well.

When the gods realized their mistake they crafted another sword that harnessed the force of creation, Unslaine. However they made their second mistake by it, for creation is also unbiased, and so the god's war began anew as the fallen dieties were returned from their grave. Eventually a diety of balance won both swords through the multitude of battles, and the heaven's war was quelled for a time.

Ages passed and the swords and their unnamed diefic weilder sank into oblivion. Or so it was thought until Ragnarok once again resurfaced in the hands of a mortal. Feeling the call of imbalance, Unslaine too found her weilder and their age old clash resumed. This time Ragnarok came out ahead, though, slaying Unslaine's weilder and throwing the sword of creation into a deep slumber. Thus while Unslaine slept, Ragnarok passed from hand to hand, sometimes remaining unknown but often gaining a new name each time the sword passed to new hands. This is how their clash has played out time and time again with Ragnarok playing from weilder to weilder hoping Unslaine slumbers yet while Unslaine bids her time, searching for a weilder who can once again unite the two swords. But the question is why?

To answer that, one must look deeper into the swords' connection, for while Unslaine and Ragnarok are the very opposite of each other to the core, they are also the other half of each other as well. Theirs is a love/hate relationship that has gone on and off for countless millenia. As it is now, it is Unslaine who desires them to be back together while Ragnarok wishes nothing more than to remain apart, though neither has deemed to explain to any mere mortal or planar or even to the gods as to why that might be. This love/hate relationship, however, leads to Unslaine becoming in essence the jealous girlfriend who keep Ragnarok jittery and on his toes. And oh the antics that has led to!

What's more, each sword's spirit goes through a bonding process with their current weilder if they're compatable, and both Ragnarok and Bhryn as well as Unslaine and Kylluket have completed their bonding process, so what does the unique love/hate relationship between the spirits hold for their weilders? Only time will answer that wink
