Mo'onasi x Korvo
A few day's travel from Firekin Lands
A few day's travel from Firekin Lands

Mo'onasi had slowly made her way to a place far-off from the Great Mountains that she had been residing on. She had learned a bit more about the lives of mortals, about how dedicated some could be to their lands, and also how trust seemed to run deep. It made her think when she left, wandering around aimlessly, trying to learn a bit more about these 'mortals' and their habits. They interested Mo'onasi quite a bit, and she particularily enjoyed it. Most of the Gods she assumed would never trudge along in the silly affairs of mortals, and actually enjoy it, but to Mo'onasi, it was of great pleasure and an overall curiosity and love of life that drove her on for more knowledge.
She had passed a small cropping of rogue lions in the area sometimes called the Southlands, and was most likely inbetween a more set-in-stone area now. She didn't quite know where she was going, or what she was doing, but you never knew unless you tried, right?
Her breathing had grown a bit sluggish, tired from a long day's travel. There were probably just a few hours sunlight left, and the earth around was slowly growing into a more golden colour. Her green-gold eyes flitted around, taking in the sight of the sun's lasting rays. She loved the beauty of it all, and it comforted her, in a silly way.

The bedragged beast that struggles through the grass is perhaps not at all comforted by the beauty of the setting sun, though perhaps very little other than rest would, at this moment, comfort him. His dusty brown hide and black mane are scorched, and his paws blistered and burned. His expression is faintly dazed, as though it takes all his consentration to put one foot in front of the other with some purpose he may not even remember.

The Goddess' ears perk forward as she hears a soft, and very slow, dragged-out sound of paws scruffling against the not-so-soft ground. Her ears swivel a bit around her head before she locates where the sound is coming from. Not quite in front of her, but more towards the side of her, she barely sees a giant form slowly making it's way over the earth. Intrigued, she watches the beast for a moment, not quite sure if it was a lion, or some sort of preybeast she had yet seen.
Slowly, she made her way towards the beast, in a quiet and hesative manner. Best not to scare the thing off before she found out just what it was. Her wings were tight against her back, her head moving carefully to try and not catch the sun's ray's through her jewelry. So far, so good...

The lion, burned as he is, that moves through the grass is a strangely built beast, with broad powerful shoulders, and dulled claws that look worn almost to nubs, like a digging animal's claws. He sits down heavily. exhaustion written across his features, licking his paws gently and tenderly.
Safaia
Seeing that the large beast had set itself down in a much feline-matter, she crossed out in her mental list that it was a preybeast. They were strange, but they sure didn't sit like that!
She inched her way forward, just enough to see that...indeed, it was a lion! And one that sure didn't seem to be in good condition, not at all. A worried look crossed her face as she got even closer to see the scorched fur, paws that didn't look in any bit shape of good.
Her timidness returning, she shyed a bit before speaking out to the beast.
"H-hello there?"
Her voice was clear as crystal, soft in it's tone, with a bit of a shy streak in it.

The dark lion starts, brown eyes widening as he turns to face the noise, confusion and fear written on his face, along with pain and wearyness, and he hesitates before responding, blinking at the voice.
"Who are you?" He responds, warily. Terrified, though he's uncertain why, or of whom.

Hating how mortals normally took her being a goddess, she did her best to try and hide the fact at first...though how she was going to hide those wings was another thing.
"Umm... M-my name's Mo'onasi, sir. I umm...just happened to notice you going...by?"
She hesitated before speaking again.
"My curiosity took over the best of me and I just happened to sneak up on you, I'm so sorry sir. I was just curious, and now I'm worried about you...even if I don't know you, you seem to be in a lot of pain..."
A huge slew of words came rushing out of her mouth, and just as soon as they all rushed out, Mo'onasi shut her mouth, knowing that she probably spoke too much, way too soon.

He blinks strangely at her, though it seems to be at her entire form, as though he'd never seen another lion before, and isn't sure what to make of her from whiskers to wings, blinking at her slowly and at this own shape, in distant, pained puzzlement. "There was a fire..." He offers fogily. "And I burned by feet but I don't remember WHY there was a fire..."
Safaia
Mo'onasi, not one for healing, cautiously inched a bit closer to him to see if she could at least get a better look. She kept herself low to the ground, hoping that she wouldn't make much of a threat to him.
She gave off a soft purr, hoping that it would perhaps ease his tense features, and did her best to get a good look at him.
"I think you burned more then that, sir." Soon she pulled herself back, deciding that that was enough of being close. Her shyness could only be ebbed for so long.
"A...fire?" Her mind shot to old memories of things called humans that she was told of, how they built fire, and how fire could be a blessing or a disaster. She furrowed her brows in though, momentarily forgetting that this injured lion was right in front of her.

"I ran through it..." He confesses, looking thoughtful himself. "Again...I don't know why. I was...running from something...worse than the fire." He scowls in frustration...he can't imagine what would be worse than the fire, and the wounds that still torment him.
Safaia
Mo'onasi popped her head back up from out of though, a bit suprised. Whoops! She pondered on his words quickly though, so as not to fully ignore him.
"Something to drive you through fire...that must of been quite a fright. But, it might be best to not push your mind. Perhaps after you've worked on healing your wounds? I'm not one for healing, but I'd be glad to help as best I can..." She shyed her head down, ears on her skull. She wasn't much helpful for anything, and she never muched liked that. After what had happened when she was younger, she was always too nervous to every try anything by herself.
