Because the mods are trying to prove they're not lazy by attacking the worthwhile posters when they do anything that's even similar to spam.

Their job is tough... I don't think giving them a break would imply that they're lazy... Correction: it shouldn't imply that. Let's just hope the mods realize what it is: an attempt to redirect the rabid posting of fanboys that no human could possibly keep up with otherwise. 3nodding
