It's better that I, unlovable, died as I am In quiet I shall sleep, without giving my first cry...Does anyone know if there's a way to affix studs and spikes to a leather / pleather jacket?
I also want to affix them to pants, if possible, and want the outfit to be usable on a regular basis (Ex: Not have it break easily, be durable.)
Sensei (The owner of this account, and sitting right behind me) suggested glue, but that is not a reliable and professional appeal. Money IS, in fact, a factor in this, as in we're not willing to pay countless sums of money for a jacket that perhaps will never be worn again (I would not stand for that! If so, I'd take it!).
If you've managed to keep reading unto this point, I thank you, and hopefully you have greatly appreciated suggestions. Ja ne~! (Btw, I'm going to sign up for this Guild momentarily.) [What is your fate...? Why are you here...? Your Reason for Being ...]

if you're using pyramid studs then you can peirce them through the material and then just close the hooks on the back so that they don't come off. You should be able to kinda get an idea if you go to Michaels in the craft section/leather working since I can't explain it well.
I love DeG

Mos, if not all, studs have sharp hooks in the back. If the fabric is hard to work with, like pleather, you could probably use something to hammer them into it. When I had to put in studs into velvet, I used a nail file to push them through the fabric.
Then, like Hinata-sama said, just close the hooks so the studs don't come off. It's really easy!

Ahh, but we still need a DeG costume scheme with simple costumes!
We, kids, are doing this. We don't have millions of dollars at our disposal like the band!

It's better that I, unlovable, died as I am In quiet I shall sleep, without giving my first cry...Okay, the question NOW is...
Where do we get Die's jacket? If we make it... HOW?
And for Shinya... WHAT THE HECK IS THE PERSON GOING TO DO ABOUT THEIR COSTUME?! [What is your fate...? Why are you here...? Your Reason for Being ...]

I know that if you get the right kind of pyrimid spikes (you could actually get these off of a belt or something) they have atleast a set of 2 prongs that would fit in just fine, all you have to do if you're having a hard time getting them through the leather is take a leather working knife... or an exacto knife and make a little slit and stick em on thru As for actually getting the spikes in the ones that i've seen in the past have had a screw on the bottom that you use to connect... same thing... just make a slit in the leather and stick the screw on thru and screw it on... not that hard.
DONT HAMMER THEM IN!!!

Naifu ttenowa ne, sasu toki yorimonuku toki no hou ga itaindatte shitteta? That is actually very helpful, however we still have the problem that we don't know where to find Die's jacket! It's close to impossible to find! I don't really have that much money, and hot topic and the other stores I've looked in have had nothing.

I've already got decent pants and boots. And the belt I can get. But the jacket still puzzles me. Helppppp!~
It hurts more when you pull out a knife then when you stab it in, did you know that?
