its not just AT that is harsh...all of gaia can be that way...i know that a lot of the outfits that i have arent good..have been told that rolleyes ...but oh well..to heck with what everyone else says...as long as i love my look that is all that matters...
what is funny to me is that a lot of the bad comments are coming from a lot of people who either A) do not have any type of outfit/theme/or are just plain nekky...or B) are so overloaded with stuff that the avi is cluttered....but..that is what they want so be it...honestly jaz i love your outfits....i think they look great on you...i havent seen one yet that hasnt looked good wink heart

harsh isn't the word! i know i've commented on this before, but moving away from the couch is like stepping onto a hostile planet! they're nasty little sods out there.plus, you all know that the unspoken Gaia rule is to wear every item you possess at once to look good rolleyes or get flamed

jellysundae harsh isn't the word! i know i've commented on this before, but moving away from the couch is like stepping onto a hostile planet! they're nasty little sods out there.plus, you all know that the unspoken Gaia rule is to wear every item you possess at once to look good rolleyes or get flamed yep..i agree with you jelly...but not everyone can afford a 90k gold set of demon horns and what not...when someone asks me to rate their avi..i do NOT judge by how expensive their items are...i actually just look at it as another avi...expensive items or not...cause i have seen some awesome avis that didnt have all the donation items and still look good 3nodding ...ok..the butterfly has really rambled on hasnt she neutral lol

that doesn't mean you're not creative Roo, you dres your avie in things that you like/can afford.i don't care what others say about mine.when i dressed my girly up in her angelic camisole, red boots and wings i thought she looked sexy, but it got called bland and boring by someone else who's avie looked like something from a freakshow!
Age has a lot to do with it in my opinion too, alot of Gaians are teens and they feel the need to showboat because they're not comfortable with who they are yet. where as most of us are older and more self assured so we don't feel the need to try and make a statement.

I think u may have something there! Also I think these low rates are from people who want to make themselves feel better or superior or something.
