The sun drooped over the edge of the horizon, spraying colors into the sky over the mountains. One the other side of the savvanah, the sky darkened, the moon not yet raising into view. A cold breeze swept through the tall grass as a dark blue figure walked quietly through the dry dirt. Creha heaved a sigh, the light, lightly glowing, bands across his legs reflecting off of the dark grass around him. He paused, ears flicking a few times, before he lept onto a rock, still warm from the last rays of light.

This part of day was his favorite. The bridge between night and day. Twilight.

His tail fell against the back of the rock, his head resting on his paws.

The masked cub walked slowly through the plains. Sukin has told her to come home before the sunset, but since she was already late she didn't think it would be fair to waste the light that still lingered. The sunset was suppose to be beautiful and attention grabbing, but to Uladrac it was just another time of day. Now the night that was what she loved. There was nothing to fear in the dark, and it confused her why some many dreaded it. Being lost in her thoughts she never noticed the rock and the figure that sat upon it. But when the other lion had moved his tail it caught her attention. Eyes flashed towards him in an instant and a growl rose in her throat.
"Who are you?" She asked instantly not even waiting a second to learn about this odd lion, who dare disturb her peaceful walk.

Light blue eyes instantly landed its gaze on the masked lioness cub. A hiss arose in the back of his throat, teath bearing. "Who wishes to know?" He murmured in a low dark tone. Creha got to his feet, his tail falling and folding around his hind legs. His muscles tightened. An ear twitched, silver and blue flakes flicking in the light breeze. He blinked a few times, the three lines beneath each eye folding as wrinkled lines emerged in his face.

What an interesting looking lioness... He couldn't help but get curious, but he kept a calm and sturdy composure, emotion not changing in his face.

At his stupid question, as she saw it, Uladrac rolled her eyes. Well who else was here asking his name. No one that's who!
"Me! I don't see anyone else here. Unless of course you hear voices in your head."
Uladrac said her voice cold and calm like it had always been. As the light breeze blew past the beads that attached to her mask blew lightly and she watched him with interest. Red ears twitched in annoyance at his older lion cub. This lion wasn't anything like the big group of fools she lived with, and he didn't even try to make instant friends with her like Keira might. Her smirk seemed to grow, she liked this lion.

Creha rolled his eyes, "As if that wasn't completely obvious" he muttered, leaping off the rock and walking towards her. His steps were long elegant strides. He stopped, not a few feet away. He lowered his head a bit, getting his face a few inches away from hers. He smirked, "I meant, what's your name? Who do I have the pleasure of speaking to? Or vise versa..." His voice was was smooth, velvet-like. He shrugged, smirk still on his face, head moving backwards away from hers a bit. "Ya' never know..."

Uladrac snorted slightly as she turned her head away from him, but as he came towards her she unseathed her claws. The fur on the back of her neck rose slightly as she let a growl form in her throat. Though she knew she probably wasn't very frightening she tried her best anyway. As his face moved closer to hers she backed away almost as if it was a reflex.
"I'm Uladrac, and what about you?"
She asked a growl still visable in her voice. The sound of his voice was different from hers though, he didn't show much resentment towards her. The fur on her the back of her neck lowered, but she still watched him intently. This lion had already made her look like a fool, and she was not about to let him do it again. Blinking, her elaborate tail feathers of black and red twitched and she held back the urge to spit at him.

The lion let out a light chuckle, his smirk growing into a grin. "My name's Creha, m'lady. Pleasure to meet you" He lowered his head in a bob-like bow. "And what are you doing in a place like this?" He arched an eyebrow, tailfeathers flicking. He knew he was getting on her nerves slightly, and he was going to try to make it so that didn't happen any more than it already had. Uladrac didn't seem like that bad of a gal...

Now he was laughing at her! Uladrac took a deep breath, and tried her best to calm down. There was no need to start a fight of any kind, and she was not ready for another lecture from Sukin about getting along with others. So she put her best 'smile', and replied to him in a calm, smooth voice,
"It's nice to meet you too, Creha."
The words felt like they were being forced out of her mouth, and she didn't like that one bit. If this what it felt like to be nice she vowed to herself that she would never try it again.
"I was on my way home, but I stopped so I could enjoy at least part of the night."
There that had to be a good enough answer for him. By now she noticed he was trying his best to not make her angry, so she calmed herself down. She was use to just calming down quickly, since she lived with a bunch of crazy lions.

Creha smiled and nodded at her. "Ah, yes. The night is probably the most enjoyable part of.." He was about to say day, but that would be redundant. He grinned, shaking his head slightly, "The night's always best enjoyed, not rushed as to get somewhere" He nodded afterwards. Ok, so he wasn't the best at words, but it was worth a shot, wasn't it? He laughed at himself, "Ah, don't mind me, apparantly I'm at a lost for words this night" He mused, looking up at the stars that started to appear in the sky. He sat down, folding his paws before him in an 'elegant' manner.

As Creha stopped his sentence the young lioness couldn't help, but blink in curiousity. She knew that he probably meant to say day, but she wasn't going to push him to see why he didn't say it. Though what he said next seemed more calming to her and she couldn't help but nod her head in agreement.
"Yes, the night is beautiful. The world is asleep, but yet there is so much life."
She closed her eyes and let out a small sigh, one of relaxation though. In the distance she could already hear the night life creeping forward. Crickets chirped in the grasses not far off, and there was a mouse scurring to get home. Opening, her eyes once again she looked at Creha.
"Don't worry. We all have those times once in a while."
Stars shimmered above her, and she couldn't help but look up at them. Though her attention turned to Creha when he moved. Why did he fold his paws like that? It seemed kind of girly to her, but instead of blurting that out she kept the comment to herself. No need to get him angry.

"Aye, aye" Creha nodded, ears flicking as the sound of the night life drifted towards his ears. He streched, tail flicking from one side to another. He pawed at the dry dirt, yawning lightly. He wasn't.... tired, just... bored, per say?

"So" He murmured, eyes flickering back to the cub, "Where are you off to tonight?" He arched an eyebrow, sitting back up, paws uncrossing, and his tail making circles in the dirt.

Hmmm...she seemed to being boring him. Uladrac twitched her tail in annoyance, but tried not to show it. Well, at least he agreed with her standards on the night. But really who couldn't agree, night was the best.
Eyes fell back upon the older cub, and smirked."Well, like I said I was on my way home. Though I do really see it a waste to go back, everyone just too annoying. Sukin and Keira are to hyper and happy for my taste, and Mer...he's just a worthless ball of fluff." Uladrac spat as she let her tail sway in the night breeze. Whoever said family was important must have never met 'hers'.

Creha let out a light chuckle, "Ah, I know what you mean" He let out a sigh, "Annoying, or otherwise worthless lions, are quite possibly the worst beings you can come across" He shrugged, "Thats why I live alone, out here" He looked around him, "It's quiet, but sometimes the quiet is the best. He snorted, he didn't mind being alone, and acually liked the silence that surrounded him, though the occasional visitor was nice...

"I would love to live alone. Don't know why I haven't done it already." Uladrac said with a small shrug of her shoulders. Really it never crossed her mind, why she hadn't started to live on her own. Quiet....now that's what she wanted."Yes quiet is best!" Surprised, by her own outburst Uladrac shook her head."I'm sorry about that...." The young cub muttered as she flicked her tail feathers in annoyance with herself.
