Neveah was in a panic. She'd managed to get away from Philos, all while screaming she quit and some other threats about ever coming near her or her son again...but, as things go, big things never come without a price.
Her price, of course, was her wings. Her fragile, glittering wings had been more than compromised in her struggle with Philos, and both bore the terrible price of her fight; both wings were broken, crumpled, and in a few places, torn...the poor butterfly looked as though she'd been hit by a truck! However, the terrible pain from her delicate wings was nothing compared to the panic she felt, the complete and total worry for her son.
She'd seen him run out, but she didn't know if he'd been followed, or if he even made it out of the building. Of course, she had called the cell phone many, many times...but that turned out to be fruitless. There was no answer on the other end, and no matter where she looked, she couldn't find her little Drow.
Neveah had gone to the doctors only once, and that was when the pain was too much on her tired body. The doctors had informed her that her wings were beyond help, and that an immediate survery was to take place...but Neveah couldn't allow that to happen. She couldn't waste her time in surgery while Zah was out there somewhere, on his own! Even the mere thought of it was absured. She opted for just the painkillers for now.
Then, a day after that of searching on her own, she just couldn't do it anymore. She had to get help, and she called the only two people she trusted more than anything in the world; Patrick and Malen.
She never really told them the story in detail; all she could get out was that Zah was missing, that he was supposed to be in the open where she could find him, and she needed their help.
It was late in the third day now; Neveah standing anxiously in the lobby of the headquarters, waiting for Patrick and Malen, and more important for any news from her two friends. She couldn't find Zasalamel, and the broken butterfly was running on very little sleep. She was wearing herself thin, but her body told her she needed, more than anything, to find Zah before she rested, before she fixed her wings.
If she looked like she'd been hit by a truck before, it was nothing compared to her look now; nothing was well kept on her, and she looked as though she were about to collapse. Yet, of course, her glazed aqua eyes shown with determination. She was going to find him, damnit!

Patrick strode into the area of the headquaters with the stride of a man who... well, couldn't find a drow. He hadn't searched yet, having wanting to wait for Neveah before he did anything about the kid.
It was Yashima who was skirting into the HQ with such urgancy. His little gray yukata was loose, hand holding it closed as he scrambled in. Seeing the butterly, the little fox barreled at her, grabbing the butterfly around the waist.
"Where is Zah?!" His voice was the most panicked Patrick had ever heard him. His father hurried to grab the fox but, despite the pulling, he remained clinging to Neveah. "I want to find Zah! Now! Let me help - I can help! Tousan!"
"Yashi, STOP. I said you could come if you didn't cause a scene." Patrick winced, pulling him back finally. Yashima struggled with a little whimper, tail tucking up. "So sorry, Neveah.... You know we'll do anything to help."

Malen entered the lobby from the hall having been occupied with trying to keep Kishi from running off own her own in search of her lost friend. He looked tired and stressed and then as his eyes swept over Neveah’s body angry “ When we have found Zah you will tell me where to find who did this to and he will pay “ He growled orange eyes snapping. Zah was the main concern for the moment but there was no way he was letting something like this go unchecked.
Kishi stared at Neveah in shock she’d never imaged anyone could look that bad. she was torn between wanting to hug her and wanting to say away from Yashima, she settled for shifting from foot to foot at her father’s side “ I’m going to help too,” she piped up. Zah was her best friend and she wasn’t going to let him stay lost if she could help it.

Neveah spun around when she heard the others enter the room, her arms clasping tightly around one another, hugging them close to herself. This just...this just wasn't fair! She often griped about having to care for kids but....when it came right down to it, it was the most important thing to her, ever.
When Yashima came barreling towards her, Neveah gave a shrill cry in warning and stepped back; but the move was useless; he plowed into her anyway, grabbing around her waist, brushing her painful wings.
"EEEEYAH!" She cried out, tears coming to her eyes. Instead of hugging the fox back, she instead focused on getting him away from her. Eventually, Yashima was pulled away anyway, and she sighed with relief. "You can help, You can help! Just don....don't touch me, please.." She hissed out, gnawing on her bloody lip.
She only smiled softly towards Malen and Kishi, nodding a bit. "Thank you so much for your help...I've run out of ideas where he could be..." She ran through what she'd already been through (her house, the headquarters, around her old work, etc...), and how she told him to stay where she'd be able to find him. By this time, she was almost in tears; she was so tired, so worried...it was breaking what little sanity she had left.
"A-any ideas...?" She eventually got out, one hand pressing against her side, the other rubbing her eyes.

Yashima just stared at Neveah as if she grew two heads right there in front of her. She was sounding so whimpering and...girlish and... His head shook in disgust, turning on his sandals to lean over. He grabbed Kishis wrist, tugging at her as he moved towards the door.
"They're all whiney." He huffed, voice rough in his own little panic. "He's out there. Know he's out there. We gotta find them or they never will. So are you coming with me or am I going alone?"
She was a girl. She was a girl and he was touching her but he was going to help him find Zah. If she didn't? She would be left behind, never to be looked at again. A traitor.
"Yashi, what are you doing?!" His tousan yelped out but Yashi didn't budge, golden eyes on Kishi.
"Are you coming?" He was mimicing Malens voice now, knowingly. He had practiced... he knew how to do that much.

"I'm coming with you" Kishi said firmly locking her grey eyes on his golden ones. They knew him best so they'd be able to find him while the adults fixed Neveah who didn't look like she'd do anyone much good searching. While his touch had initially unerrved her his ability to mimic her father's voice was soothing, it settled her nerves.
Malen's attention flicked between the two females but settled on Neveah, "Sit down explain everything thoughly, everywhere you went and everything that's happened we need to map out a search pattern." It was strange but he believed the kids could find Zah if no one else could, they all held a common bond did they not? Besides due to the accident causes by Yashi Neveah was in more pain then she had been and could probably use rest and treatment while she talked.

Neveah only looked sadly at Yashima; she realized then just how pathetic she must've sounded, nevermind looked...but that realization was just a passing thought. Instead of focusing on Yashi, she opened her mouth to plead with Malen instead.
"NO! I can't sit down yet!" She tried to tell him, purposely limping away from anything that could remotely be called a chair or couch. "A----a phone! I still have my phone, Zah should have the other...we could try calling again...!!" Now, she just sounded crazy.
Then again, lack of sleep, panic, and pain could do that to a person.
A metallic-sounding, somewhat muffled pounding noise came from somewhere in another room, too far away for the adults to hear, but perhaps close enough for Yashi or Kishi to pick up.

Patrick made soft, soothing n oises in the back of his throat to the woman, chasing after her enough to grab her wriss. "Neveah, being hurt and exhausted won't help Zah, ok? Please sit down, listen to Malen. Sit and we'll call him, ok?"
While his tousan was busy soothing the woman (who he would later make nice to, as she had wings) Yashima had been pulling Kishi away. She didn't like him anymore then he liked her but it was a truce made for Zah. Their friends life was more important then the little things like... Yashi hating her. Yup.
The knock was picked up with a flick of his large(r) ears, eyebrows furrowing together. "Nani..." Yashima whispered, dropping the girls hand to hurry into the direction the noise was coming from. His voice rose a little as they moved towards that pounding noise, towards a door. "Siyo! Zah, ghil?" He was still speaking loudly in the very limited Drow he knew, eyebrows still furrowed.
"Ghil, Zah?"

Kishi had no clue what Yashi was going on about but she'd heard him say Zah's name and her own slighty sensitive ears picked up the sound of banging. Chasing after the faster boy she hoped that the noise wasn't simply Kit or Del having locked themselves in a room or something.
Malen shot a thankfull look at Patrick " Sit and use the phone if he dosen't answer we'll think of something else."

Neveah yelped in surprise when Patrick caught her wrists. After staring at the two men, the butterfly heaved a heavy sigh of defeat and did as they said, sitting down gingerly and leaning forward, as to not hit her already broken wings on anything.
"Here...the phone." She said tiredly, digging into her pant pocket and pulling it out, hitting send before handing it off to Malen, as if just holding it was a bother now.
--
Zah wasn't positive, but he could've sworn he heard voices on the other side. The problem was, the stupid door wouldn't open, and it was cramped in this space!
"Doeb! Ori'gato uns'aa DOEB!" He commanded angrilly to the cabinet's door, hitting his larger fists into it in an attempt to force it open. There were voices out there, he could hear them! They could help him!
Holding his breath, he tried one final, heavy hammer agianst the cabinet doors with his fists, and this time, the mechanism that held the door closed broke quick enough to catch the tall drow off his guard, causing him to stumble (or rather, trip), out of the cabinet. Zasalamel landed on all fours with a surprised gasp; moving was so much harder now that he was bigger!
"Eh?" He seemed to foget about his fall and instead looked around him for the creators of the voices. He must've looked quite the sight; tall, slender, toussled white hair...and more than half naked. Luckily for him his pants, which had been much too big on him as a toddler, clung open around his hips, covering only what needed to be covered and that was it.
Behind him, muffled slightly by the pile of fabric that used to be his sweater, came the cell phone's happy little jingle.

The little fox ignored the jingle and the half-nakedness of Zah. There he was. He was alive. No outside, no having to get dirty or disgusting in order to find him. Yashi skirted over to the other, dropping to his knees in front of the drow.
"Stupid, stupid elf." He muttered softly, lunging foreward halfway to latch his arms around the others neck. Yashima squeezed closer, face pressing into Zahs neck. "Thought you were dead, stupid, stupid elf. No cookie." And he hiccuped and there was dampness.
He wasn't worried, not at all.

Kished dropped down besides the boys and grinned, Zah was safe and that was all that mattered. She would however like to hug her friend as well as soon as he was free of the of fox boys graps. " I'll make you all the cookies you want " she retorted. She too had been worried but she wasn't going to reprimand zah, if she'd seen her father getting beaten up like that and couldn't do anything she'd go and hide too.
Malen took the phone and then frowned pacing, it was ringing the signal was amazingly strong, straying towards the kitchen he could faintly make out an awnsering ringing. " Um Neveah I think he's here. " Malen was shocked how the hell could the drow child have been here all along.

"Ahhshee, Keyshee!" Zasalamel brightened considerably when he saw Yashima and Kishi...but before he could do anything, the fox was already at his level, and he already had his arms around his neck, hard.
He was only motionless for a second or two, and after that he let out a happy cry, leaning his weight back onto his knees and wrapping his arms around Yashima, hugging his fox friend tightly. "Usstan tlun naut waele..." He murmured in a stubborn reply to his crying friend. Eventually lifting his head from Yashima's white hair, the purple-eyed Drow turned his attention to Kishi, and reaching out with one hand, he grabbed her wrist and pulled her into the hug as well, holding both of them tightly to him, his head nuzzled between theirs.
"Usstan tlun taudl, ji...ji taudl" He apologized heavilly to the both of them, his voice heavy with emotion. His friends where here, finally! After all this time of wishing for them, here they were, and they were worried about him...! The Drow couldn't have been happier with this turn out!

"Waele." He snorted in return. He had only recognized 'I' and 'stupid' in that sentance but it was enough to tell him what the other was saying. Even when the girlthing was pressed against him, he didn't care. The foxes tail swished rapidly, moving to wind around the drows arm, hiccuping slightly. "Waele, Zah."
It took a long moment for the young boy to calm down, hand seeking for one of Zahs, squeezing the dark hand tightly. "You just grew up," He murmured, voice thick with... wel, ok, he was still kind of crying, "And remembered stuff. I did t-too... K-the girl probably did too.. and t-they're stupid and I didn't like them but.. It's over now. It's okay. Y-you're here."
Another hiccup.

Kishi really wished she could understand undercommon now so that she could give Zah a proper response. Of course at the moment she was still shocked by Zah's massive change in size ( he'd dreamed himself really big) and strength, she doubted she'd be able to say much that mattered anyways.
Stretching her wings out she pulled them forewards to wrap around the group as best she could sheilding them from the outside. " Yashi is right dreaming yourself big is scarey sometimes but you're back now and we found you and your mom will be really happy."
