Very Nightmare Before Christmas... Well, although I do enjoy the Christmas season, Halloween should have its mark all year round. There's always us wearing our ghoulish outfits for most the year. We could start a big thread in Chatterbox as the season approaches...Have some contests, and maybe attract more people to the guild =]

Well for some that would be wrong because Christmas is a religious holiday to celebrate the birth of Christ. And I do love Halloween. It's my favorite holiday but I don't want it to interfere with my religion. But before my Great Aunt Donna May died she celebrated Christmas on Friday the 13th. (she wasn't very religious.) And when there were 2 Friday the 13th's she would celebrate it twice. I used to love it. But my grandma (who's a very religious woman) hated it. So basically I had 2 or 3 Christmas' a year. It was AWESOME!!!!!!! But she died. And I miss her very much. So on Friday the 13th I go to her grave and take a couple friends who knew her very well and we always take gifts and a Weigi Board, and candles, and we would use the Weigi Board to try and contact her and we swear that we never push it but it moves. Then after that we exchange gifts and we always make a bouquet right there and at the stroke of midnight we place it and we say a few words. It's very nice.

That does sound quite nice...And, I was thinking about the religious aspect of it as well. But, we're not changing it into something else, merely bringing a little Halloween spirit to the holiday..I don't think it's that bad.
