It was great, but not that great. The MC was horrible and it was difficult to understand them at times. Also, the cast wasn't the best. Don't be offended if these are your faviourties or not, I may've seen them on a bad night or whatever. Let's start with my favourite character that made me want to go up and beat the person on stage... Angel.
Melvin Bell, III(Angel)
This man is less then a perfect Angel. He's adorable as her I have to admit. Made me squeal by the cutsie ness of him in drag and playing Angel. He was a great actor, but he definatly failed in the most important parts. Anyone can ACT like Angel. Just coat yourself in sugar till you can't breathe(just kidding xD). Anyways, he couldn't dance. At all! He was horrible at it and actually almost slipped and fell once or twice. Durring "Today 4 U" he was rounding the table and I had seen one heel fall out from under him for a breif moment and then he continued dancing. Angel's drum solo on the table... He wasn't really into it. Just stuff like that had really bothered me. He didn't do everything that was required which matters when you're paying 50$ to see this guy.
Krystal Brown (Mimi) She was fantastic, this woman actually made me grow to love Mimi. I used to hate her so yeah, this was a huge accomplishment. Her singing was fantastic, and I had adored every note of her voice. She brought out a new side of Mimi that I found so appealing, and dare I say, intriguing. Out Tonight, Another Day, everything was fantastic.
Declan Bennette (Roger) I couldn't really understand what he was saying since he spoke too fast. Otherwise he played a good Roger. There were some things that bothered me, but everything else was fine.
Warren G. Nolan, Jr. (Collins) I wish he still had his hair in dreadlocks. He was so awesome then, and his hair was about the only thing that bothered me. His interaction with Angel was perfect, and I loved that so much. "I'll Cover you (reprise)" had me crying for a long long time. Definatly a great singer and actor. I loved him before too, although he didn't seem too into Santa Fe this time. That dissapointed me a little...
Tracy McDowell (Maureen) Haet haet haet. She reminded me more of "vallah grrl" then Maureen. Plus, she really wasn't all that attractive and made me not enjoy "Over The Moon".
Chante Carmel Frierson (Joanne) Great! She played a wonderful Joanne and I loved her. Not many complaints about her. If any. She did a fantastic "Tango Maureen" and "Take me or leave Me"
Harley Jay (Mark) He seemed to speak monotone-ish at a point, but that was quickly fixed. He was fantastic and I loved every moment of him. He played "lonely bored and horney" quite well. Definatly someone I would love to see again.
I'll add more later when I have the stanima to type more. xD

Tracy and Chante were in Rent when I saw it
I actually really liked Tracy and her version of Over the Moon, and she seems to be really nice IRL, too; she had her own pink Sharpie to sign things and tried to at least talk a little to everyone
And I disagree with you thinking she's unattractive, I think she's kinda pretty
Chante = love
And she called my friend Katy's Rent!shoe (red Converse like Jon wore, with Rent lyrics and cast sigs all over it and the Rent logo drawn on the toe) "dope" when we asked her to sign it x3
I think Angel is hard to do well; I haven't heard/seen many good videos/recordings of Angels besides Wilson, and I hated the Angel I saw (Ano Okera)

As I said, this was in my opinion. I didn't like her and she ruined the experience(of OTM) for me. The funny thing is I really like Ano, to say the least he did a much better job. To me she just wasn't an attractive person and maybe that was the night I had seen her I don't know. Either way she bothered me. It's ok that you find her attractive, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. By the way, I never said she was a bad actress, just not my cup of tea. Hope I clarified so I didn't offend you or made you think no one should like her.
It's hard to do Angel, I know, but that is hardly an excuse. After all, you're supposed to be a professional when doing these things, and mediorce doesn't count. I probably seem so opinionated and bias because I am, that was my impression of the show. Sadly, I could've done that better. That's a lot to say too. Me=onestepingogobootsfallingoverbreakingmyneckandbeingsenttoer That, unfortunatly is far too true.
It wasn't horrible, so don't worry about that much. I just thought it could've been better.
Thanks about the screen name.x3
I love wilson in all of his tiny splender. He's one of my fav's but not quite. Ano, in my opinion, was cuter.
We could argue day in and day out about what characters we like and don't like, but that's not the point. I was hoping for a discussion about shows. Not... "I like Jesse!!!!" "I don't! He's no fun!!1!!" Because that's pointless. sweatdrop

I saw the same cast as Freckle, and I loved Tracy, not so muc Chante.
Tracy really put a new spin on Maureen for me. Dunno what she did but it was adroable.
Chante seemed to really hog the stage a lot in my opinion. Like durring Tango, she would always step right on Mark's lines and draw her own out for even longer than it seemed like she was supposed to. I couldn't really tell if it was how she was playing to role of if she was being a bratty actress.
And Ano didn't do so well for me, either. He wa out of breath the entire time, and ICY was only partly believeable, up till the kiss which wasn't believeable at all
okay done tangent-ing.
