Des relaxed in the lake as he swam on his back, looking around the island from around him as he rested "I'm so glad to finally be able to walk on the island, but I can only stay on it for so long, I wonder where I should look first, the beach, the forest, the mountians, there's so much too choose from" He smiled and waved his tail around as he swam backwards

"I know, I've looked at it so long from the water, I'll go to the beach, afterall I always wanted to see why so Pae'il come to it and look out here?" He swam up to the shore and crawled out of the water, standing up slowly as his necklace made his tail into legs. He was alittle wobbly first, but got touse to it and started to walk around, looking around and playing the sand as he explored

"Hmm there's really not much to do here, and this sand is drying me out" He sighed and swam back into the water. After refreshing and becoming soaked again he came back up and looked around "Maybe it's more fun when others are with you, I don't see too many Pae'il come here alone?" He swam back up to the shore and looked around some more, this time heading for the forest

He looked around at all the trees, seeing them from the lake made them all look the same, but now that he could see and touch them with his own webbed hands, he could see that were different and colorful. He yawned and sat on the stump of a fallen tree, slowly closing his eyes afterwards and drifitng off into a light sleep

After a few hours of rest he woke up. Feeling sort of dried out again he returned to the lake and headed back into the forest when he was refreshed again. He continued where he last left off and gazed around at the trees, it was like a whole new world for him instead of just swimming around only looking at them from the lake, the necklace was the greatest gift he could ever get

He looekd around, feeling a strange feeling in his head as he looked at a few stones. Then a headache it him and he yelled in pain as he felt something happen in his head, the next thing he knew the stones were in pieces had collasped, but there was no explosion "Did I do that?" He walked over to the stones "That potion I drank, this must be the power it gave me, I can't explode rocks, I implode them"

He smiled and danced around, happy to finally have his power discovered and ready to learn how he could use it "I'm going to be really strong then people will know me and want to be friends me, also the chicks" Smiles more and shakes his head "Ever sicne I grew bigger I keep thinking about girls, is this what it means to grow up?" He sighed and looked around, holding his necklace and looking back towards the lake "Who am I kidding, what girl would want to love a giant fish?"

"Well it doesn't matter, I don't need any girl, I'm fine jsut the way I am" He looked down knowing it wasn't true, but figured there wouldn't be a girl like him, all the other ones he emt had elgs and were dry, not his kind of type, with needing water to survive and all "I wonder if there's any girls like me, I'm something caleld a Naia, and that guy said there were probably other ones around, maybe one of them is a girl?" He sighed and sat down, trying to stop thinkign about it, but his teenager mind wouldn't let him

"I know, maybe I'll go fro a swim to clear my mind" He headed for the lake and jumped right in. His tail morphing back as soon as he was fully submerged and feeling so good to have nothing under his feet again "Legs are fun, but I take like flying through the air in water any day" He swam around a bit and dove down a couple of times, looking deeply at his necklace and stil wondering how it could change his tail into legs "I wonder if Pae'il wore it they could grow a tail?"

He let go of the necklace and let it drop back down to his chest. e strenched his arms and decided to forget about it. Naiads were given the necklace as a gift from the guardians. He shouldn't disobey them and give his necklace away, he might loss it for that. Never being able to walk on land again, it made him shiver in fear. He rested against the shore and then headed back into the water, diving down to the very bottom and laying down on the sand.

He yawned, sending a few bubbles out of his mouth and up to the surface where they popped quietly. He rubbed the water out of his eyes and darted up to the surface, brushing the hair out of his way and looking around "What to do today, hmm?" He looked down, seeing a giant shadow under him he hadn't noticed before "Uh oh that doesn't look friendly" He quickly swam away, the shadow following after him. Pretty soon a giant fish was out of the water and chasing after him with its mouth wide open "Hey I'm not food, go away!" He swam away faster, his face starting to match the color of his tail from pushing himself so hard. He finally reached the shore and tumbled onto the the sand, sliding a few feet until his legs were in place of his tail "That was close" He looked back at the giant fish, seeing it go back under and swim away "Note to self, learn how to swim faster then a prehistoric aquatic"
