Should they remake the greatest game ever for the PS3? Personally I say NO, as it still stands up as a fantastic game and I would be happy for my children to play it in 10-15 years time in it`s original glory. Although if they did remake it, I would still probably buy it. cool

yeah, i don't really think that they should, i mean the whole reason that it was such a good game was just that, it was a really great game, it had great game play, great story, developed characters, the music was sweet, not just for the graphics

I'm all for it. There are alot of people that hesitate to play it because of the lego like characters, or mock it, and they miss out on an AWESOME plot, AWESOME characters, and AWESOME music!
Plus, I'd just like to see the story in purdy graphix xd
Just so long as they leave the story line untouched!! (They could fix the typos though!)

I don’t mind at all longest they keep true to the original version. The PS3 tech Demo look absolutely sweet by the way. ^__^ Oh and, when FF7 did come out, I loved the graphics; it was actually one of the first games that I ever played on PS when it was first new, so the graphics to me were really incredible. Now looking back at it, damn the graphics were all that great.

I say no. Keep the old game on the PS so that they have to suffer in finding one to play it and find the game! Mwahahaha!

I think they should remake it for ps3, as long as they dont change the gameplay, just graphics. =P i found the game to be perfect even with the lego-like characters >.> i actually found the lego-cloud kinda kute.

Maybe for the PC, but not the PS3. I'd never buy a $600 system for one game, especially if I already have the old-school version. 3nodding

i actually read an article in a magazine or saw some show.. i cant remember but they're already starting it. i saw the train exit clip in hi-def it was cool but exact same movements.

A new version might be nice but I heart the old version.
Especially the part where you can make cloud almost kiss the guy.

Some of the things theyve put up already look sick. I cant remember any off the top of my head because I KNOW Im not getting one til late next year, but theyre out there. I mean, games like Prince of Persia and God of War didnt come out til late in the PS2s life. On topic though, itd definatley net them a shitload of money, but itd spark the wave of wanting remakes for ALL the others with better graphics. Im all set with playing my original copy, and I enjoy it to the fullest. Thats good enough for me. I vote NO on remake.

I wish they would remake it for ps3. That would be so awesome!!! The game is already one of the greatest games of all time so why not give it some better graphics?
