I think there was a thread like this, but I didn't feel like looking for it... XD
So anyway, here post any dumb or ridiculous SOAD related things here... I'll start.
So for a few days, I've been told by one of my friends, Kevin, that his friend, Matt, keeps calling me a poser. Kevin finally asks why, and he told me today: "Because he likes SOAD's newest CD. True fans don't like it."
I'm thinking "WTF MAN!" after I hear this, and then later I thought "Well, true SOAD fans have to go with his opinion? True PEOPLE have their OWN opinions. Dork." XD

That's dumb. All bands change and mature as their careers go on. Whether you choose to accept it or forsake it is your opinion. As for stupid things involving System...I'd have to go with my mom... OMG TEH SISTEM OV AN DOWN IZ ANTI-AMERICAN?!!?! THEY R TERORISTZ!

lol so ive been having this reoccuring dream (3 times)...
katy (my bff) and i are going to see a system of a down concert and/or coming back from it...
1-one time...i went to see system of a down and i was coming back (other random bands were there too at that concert) and on my way back..i was driving by myself and i got into a head-on collision with someone and got seriously hurt. well all of system of a down was in the car behind me (not a limo..just like a car lol, with serj driving) and the ambulance didnt come fast enough, so system of a down drove me to the hospital and serj took my cell phone and called a bunch of people in my contacts list to tell them im in the hospital (how nice <3)
2-now the second time i dont remember much...but i kno i was in a car accident...and system of a down was at the hospital again....
3-(most recent) katy and i were in a different country (idk where). there was supposed to be a concert with a bunch of bands...including system of a down. but system of a down ended up cancelling, but we were going to go anyways. her and i were staying in this hotel, when i decided to leave to go to a convient store to get some food. so as im walking on the sidewalk, this random car comes up and hits me! so i fall down, but it was just a little scratch, so i stood back up, glared a the driver (lol serjs evil glare of death), who didnt look firmiliar at all...then i walked a bit longer then he backed up and came up and swerved and hit me again! this time it was really serious. then he drove off and i luckily had enough energy to call katy. so she came and got me and there was an ambulance and what not. so i was in the hospital for a few days (the concert wasnt for like a week) and they decided it was okay for me to leave. so i did and we ended up going to the concert anyways...but as we walked in, all of the system guys were standing right there just like talking. katy and i just kinda looked at each other weird and kept walking (wtf!! katy and i would have like tackeled them!). so we get to our seats when my head started bleeding really bad again. so katy was trying to get me out of there quickly. as we walk past soad again, they help us and they drive us to the hospital. so were there and im being taken care of..when serj again takes my phone and calls everyone on my cell phone to tell them what happened...
soo yeah these were interesting dreams. im in psychology, and our homework is to sleep, have a dream, and analyse it! lol so im doing the most recent one...lol what is this supposed to mean?! so i was talking to my teacher and shes like i had a reoccuring dream once that i was being kidnapped and shes going on and on so shes like maybe ur dream is similar to that...and i said, i wasnt kidnapped, i would have gone with them freewill either way!! and she looks at me like i was crazy and walks away.
LOL also, my friend and i were talking about how these different conversations would go with serj calling them...lol u can imagine i bet. especially, i have 'work' in there and i work at mcds...so just think how serj would freak out XD XD XD
LOL so yeahh i just thought id share these dreams with you as a weird soad occurance. rofl rofl

idk if ud consider this a 'dumb occurance' but i have to tell someone and i figure u guys are the best audience mrgreen
in history we changed seats today and i sit next to this preppy b***h and we had time to work on a project and i hear 'everybody's having a party have a real good time bumbumbumbumbuuummm...' of course she badly screwed up the lyrics but i knew that that was BYOB. i STARED at her with my mouth hanging open....i was greatly shocked. she looks at me 'what?' 'omg ur singing System of a Down!' 'yea i kno isnt that weird? they're not even my favorite' 'YEA WELL THEY'RE MY FAVORITE!' then she got up and went to join her preppy b***h friends and proceded to laugh uncontrolably at a pitch close to my absolute threashold of hearing....i let the matter drop, but i was still curious as to how someone like HER could kno a SOAD song...

One time last year me and my friends got in trouble at lunch(the teacher HATED US) because we were singing Stealing Society. So everyday we would keep singing either that or Violent Pornography or etc. until they would just leave us alone for the rest of the year.! Stupid i know but i worked blaugh

There was a kid with SOAD written on his arm.
(NOTE: He also has his nails colored black with permenant parkers, badly applied eyeliner, and black shirt that was too small for his rather large body.)
Anywhom, I asked him about it, like the degrading person that I am, and he says:
"Um, Kelly says it's how cool people spell Soap."
This, of course, leads to many tears shed on my part.

So I was at work today; Swarovski, an up-scale store thinger that sells crystal figurienes, jewlery, stuff like that. Well, all the crystal in the store is 32% lead, as well as being full Austrian. Everything is hand cut, and everything we sell is flawless, as if it isn't perfect, it is destroyed and restarted.
The prices are very reasonable, given the enormua amount of work that goes into them, as well as being able to fit almost everyone's budget. Most people just don't give the light of day to look.
So a guy comes in today, looks around for a minute, goes to one of the figurines, and propmtly turns around to face me. Pretty much at a yell, he demanded to know "Why is everything in this store so darn expensive?!"
The first thing that ran though my mind was "These days, everyone knows the price of everything and the value of nothing."
It's not even funny how much restraint I had to put on myself to not say that.
I know it's a System quote, but I'm drawing blanks at which song (( gonk )) Maybe dDevil? Hmm.... this is gonna bug me...

The End That's kinda like when I had written down on a piece of paper what I was thinking about getting my brother for his birthday. I decided on a From Autumn to Ashes shirt. FATA. A friend of mine peeks over my shoulder and comments "... You're getting him feta cheese? That's an interesting birthday present..." -___-;
