Nothing else needs to be said. Seriously. These guys are amazing beyond belief. I think Temple of Shadows has to be one of my favourite prog. albums. I can't wait to get the new album.

Temple of Shadows is really good, but their other stuff doesn't shine as much. Spread Your Fire is my favourite song of theirs, and the rest of the C.D. is really enjoyable.

Hopefully their next album will be up to par with ToS, but I'm not holding my breath for anything.

From what I've heard of Angra, I think I'd pretty much enjoy "Holy Land" and "Angels Cry" over anything else, though I admit liking "Temple of Shadows", I just can never get enough of Mathos' singing, the guys is awesome! And songs such as "Carry on" and "Lisbon" are truly beautiful. biggrin

Wewt. Got the new album. xD It's really good. I mean, I feel as though it's a step toward Heavy/Prog, rather than power/prog. It's not as good as Temple of Shadows, but pretty damn close.

This band simply cannot be praised enough in my eyes. It's absolutely criminal that they aren't a lot more popular than they are.
Temple of Shadows was my first album by them, and I was more drawn to it because I heard they had Kai and Hansi doing vocals on some songs. I was surprised to find just how excellent the music was. Holy Land is probably my current favourite album by them because of the more 'tribal' feel to the music (Especially Carolina IV), but all of the albums I own by Angra are pure gold, and I'm working my way towards owning all of their catalogue.
Shade, I didn't even know they had a new album out! I'll have to go check it out right away... surprised

Yes, do so. The only problem with the album, and it's because it was so easy to hear on ToS, is the bass. It's like completely hard to hear now. Oh well, it's still great. I want to get Edu's solo album.
