Hey guys. I just came from the final fantasy forums and I just realized....no one really like FFX-2. I understand where they are coming from, but I personally love the game. *Hince why my name is Paine xd * The only thing I didnt like about it was the newly found blitzball.

Some music was good, some were bad, but it wasnt all techno. People just hate the storyline, but love the gameplay. I love both because with the story, I make up my own assumptions about what happened in the past with the machina war, Yuna and Tidus, and the relations with Paine, Baralai, Gippal and Nooj with the crusaders. Im guessing people just want yet another main male character with personal problems and a side main character which is a female that tries to find herself.

All of the FF games I played so far are excellent, dont get me wrong, but I kinda do like the change in X-2. Rikku is..well...energetic Rikku...just like Eiko, Selphie, and Yuffie. The people said that the game is girlish and that it was too preppy. Yuna is the main character and you can only use Yuna, Rikku, and Paine which saves you from changing to other characters and forgetting to level them up. Overall, I really did enjoy the game.....what are your insights on FFX-2?

Sucks having to be away for so long. neutral

Anyway, I, for one, liked FFX-2. It was different, sure, but the qualities it brought didn't make it any less of a game. The only thing I honestly didn't like about it was that there are only three playable characters...at least in the US's normal version, anyway... ninja

Nice having you back Kei biggrin

But I do agree with the game contents. But I think the three characters is just enough for a game. You know alot of people tend to forget the other characters when they are focused on the main character and their other 2 or 3 favs. I like the only 3 characters, but then again I like having the usual 7 or 8. you get to experiment the qualities of each character.

The international version of X-2 in Japan, iirc, had some way you could play as characters from X, including Seymour, as well as some other characters in X and X-2 that you couldn't play as otherwise, like LeBlanc and her goons. I'dve liked to know just what they're capable of in X-2, and I'd like to use Tidus to b***h smack the ******** out of Shuyin.

one thing i hate about it is that ffx-2 + final mission will probably never come out here. same with ffx international edition.

but yeah, i quite liked it too. i can see how some people wouldnt like it though, it does have a strong charlie's angels feel to it. plus for some reason, some guys find it threatening to have to play as a girl in a game. myself i would rather spend 60+ hours staring at yuna's a** then tidus' a**. but i digress...

Truth. It also hurt X-2 that the game was really linear, thanks to the way it was made. Sure, there were plenty of "missions", but the majority of them weren't even necessary to go through, meaning the game could end up being very, very short if you were going through with story as your only focal point.

I agree, but to be honest, those missions were fun to play. even girls dont like the idea of "Girl Power" I think more girls should have confidence in themselves and those other girls that think otherwise, well, praise be to Yevon with them. xd
