Squalla giggled as she raced through the woods her parents had claimed and she and her sister's homeland, fringe of a mane and tail flying backwards, playfully being tugged by the wind. Running was one of Squalla's favorite games, among many. Though a better time could have been picked, the sun was setting and shadows were set helter-skelter around the woodland floor, proving to make it hard to see many hard objects. Tripping was scary, it had happened to her only once before, and she tended not to think about it.
With a little whinney and a sudden rear-up stop she realized she was in the feild, ramming up against the woods as if the two her loves; that familiar with each other. Her brown eyes floated around slowly, mirror images of her father's eyes. "Pretty!" She declaired, eyes landing on the far side of the feild, where distant mountains roamed the horizon. The sun was casting a peachy-pink glow over the land, turning the clouds in the sky a beautiful shade of violet.

Will sniffed at the grass slowly and took a tender nibble. It was sweeter than regular grass, yet it was not too sweet as to make his teeth hurt. He took another tentative nibble and munched happily, staring off into the distance. Will blinked and sniffed at the air. The cool autumn breeze swept against his face and neck and he shivered just a little bit. He looked over to a grove of trees; that would be sufficient shelter from the merciless cold. He trotted as quickly as he could without looking hurried to the woods, where the dense trees shielded him from the worst of the wind.

Myoa streaked through the sky, whinnying in pleasure. She flew over a beautiful flower field bordering the lush woods. "Oh! It's beautiful here!" She exclaimed, descending gracefully. The rays of the sun flittered through the two distant mountains. "Wow...." She breathed, awed. "Oh! Hello!" She called, noticing a young filly and a clothed stallion. A light breeze picked up, tossing her mane to the mercy of the wind. She laughed, and flexed her wings. "I'm Myoa, pleasure to meet you!" She circled around, taking in and tasting her surrounds. "Wow..." She whispered, again.

Squalla's eyes had gone wide and she'd started to skitter away from the odd stallion, toward a tree that made a suitable hiding spot. But then another voice stopped her in her tracks, a voice that greeted her. Her eyes landed on the green mare and lit up, her musceles calming. Good, a normal soquili. She'd never seen on with out wings before!
She bounded forward. "Hi, hi there!" Well, it was only polite to greet both of them, just like the mare had. "My name is Squalla... " Her tail gave a little swish.

Myoa trotted over to the filly. She recognized relaxing tension. What could she have been afraid of, and why did she calm her down? She wasn't different from anyone eles....Wait. She had wings. Was the little girl from an all winged family? Myoa supposed it was possible.
"Squalla...that's a beautiful name." She smiled, flicking her ears. So, how are you this fine day?"

Will looked over to the two other Soquili. One thing that a shy stallion such as he should never do is interrupt a filly and a mare; it always ended up with embarassing consequenses. So he interrupted them just a little bit. "Hello," he said when one finished talking. "I'm Will Turner."
