"Slave Labor has signed a licensing deal with...WALT DISNEY. Slave Labor will put out four comics titles: HAUNTED MANSION, an anthology based on the ride; GARGOYLES, based on the cartoon, and written by creator Greg Weisman; WONDERLAND, a spin-off of the animated film ALICE IN WONDERLAND but minus Alice; and TRON. Yes, Tron. The book will bridge the gap between the cult movie and the cult video game. More details to come."http://www.comicon.com/thebeat/archives/2005/06/bea_day_1.html More news about the release: http://www.icv2.com/articles/news/6994.html

If they do make a comic, that would be awsome. I hope it goes through.

Ahhh... I can not wait for this. ^__^ When I look at the pages I keep attemping to compare the art style of the Marvel version that went for a year. Which I shouldn't do, since the old comic book was adapting the cartoon style to, what I would consider, darker Marvel comic book style. But this comic version, they are translating the characters to remain more true to the cartoon... Meh, I'll stop trying to explain in blabbering...

I'm both thrilled by the prospect of this comic yet disappointed by what I've seen of the art... tragic, ne?

The_Communist Is it just me or did elisa gain a few cup sizes She did. eek Jessica Rabbit must have given her some pointers on boob size. I just got my copy of the comic today- I had to finally order it online from Slave Labor. I was pleasantly surprised by the artwork. From the pages shown online they looked rather blargh, if not downright bad, but it looks much better in print. It looks like they scanned in their pencil drawings of the pages and colored those- instead of any inking- which I like, but I also really like the look and feel of rough pencil drawings.

No comic for me, as of yet. My dad is afraid of (the people in) comic book stores, so he won't take me.

That rather sucks... Once my friend and I went to an American Comic Book convention here, there were many interesting comic book nerds wandering about, it was a very unique aura for us to be around... O_o
Hopefully your dad will decide to take you the comic book store
